Funny - but you could get half off fairly easily before hand, so whats so special. Its only on select offerings, all they seem to have done is extract the half price specials from the 45% 40% off specials.
Just my observations
The strong AUD$ has made overseas holidays cheaper than domestic offerings. Why not take advantage of that while it lasts?
Another dodgy Wotif sale. Stand by for hotels and nights that don't suit for a quarter of the price.
I reckon they lost a lot of custom with that debacle.

there are some hotels that I haven't seen this cheap before eg at Byron but generally most of the others are not unsual
tried booking for the 2nd july — nothing available, so I contacted them and the best "half price" deal they could come back for this date was some loser spot in saint kilda and for $149 !!!
