This or a Samsung 860 EVO sata? P1 seems faster but not for sustainable periods. Or am I missing something

This shows overall the P1 is 80% faster than the 860 Evo. In average benchmarks it's 90% faster. There's only a couple of synthetic tests the 860 Evo is faster. 860 Evo will never be faster than the SATA connection.
If you have an NVME M.2 slot, don't bother with SATA when you can get NVME drives this good for amazing value.
Umart is selling for about the same price too.
cant compare standard sata ssds to m.2 ones, m.2 will always beat them even the cheaper brands
