            These are a ripoff, but they cost what they cost.

            @Winston100s: I contacted them to cancel 2 mins after I ordered. Got a response a day later saying 'sry we ship so fast it's too late', they shipped an hour before that message.

            My thinking is see what the BB date is on the slab I receive, if it's August I'll use PayPal's return shipping guarantee thingo to return it.

    Can anyone please give me some insight on whether the T5 is a good purchase?
    It seems like this is the cheapest it has ever been but the prices of nearly all storage devices has been decreasing quite steadily.
    I don't need this immediately so just wondering if anyone thinks this will be even cheaper in 3-6 months time when I would actually need it.

        It's integrated into the case so you can't just open it and shuck out a drive. Anandtech did a review 2 years ago and it was an 850 EVO so I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't just an 860 EVO (provided it's recently made).

        I'd just buy an 860 EVO (currently $150) and a $15-20 external case with USB-C or USB 3.0 (w/ UASP) enclosure if you really need one (provided size doesn't matter).

          I look at a video and it looks smaller than regular ssd..

          Yeah the other option is just get the evo and put it in the case.

          the main benefit of this though is it is much more smaller size and easier to pocket portability.

    Well I contacted Xiaomi, and they said to check if my model had a certain serial number because they have been VERY RECENTLY recalled due to this exact issue!

    I repeat… SOME M365 SCOOTERS HAVE BEEN RECALLED BY XIAOMI!!!

    The affected serial numbers (S/N) range from: 21074/00000316 - 21074/00015107 and 16133/00541209 - 16133/00544518.

    I don't really know how best to get this message out but I'm going to post on every M365 scooter bargain on the site. If anyone has any better ideas let me know!

      I got the shipping notice the next day (Sun 23rd June) and it was delivered to Sydney first thing on Tuesday morning (25th June).
