Hi all! First time posting here!

Saw this at a good price and referenced ozbargain if it was good, coupled together with shopback's 12%($50 cap), it brings this guy down to $432!

Hope some of you like it!

    Price in title mate :)

    Name of store in title

  • Thanks for the post. The price you quote should be before cashback

For reference this is about +15% better than the GTX 1070. And 10% worse than the GTX 1080.
Still for a brand new card, thats a helluva deal. Would pair perfectly with these really cheap Ryzen 2000 series CPUs we're seeing.

If you're willing to play around with wattman a bit, it seems to very generally get close to the vega 64.

The power requirements for this card :(
    Otherwise a great deal!

They also have the Powercolor Red Dragon Vega 56 card for the same price.

    Is the Sapphire better?

    • +3

I'm not an expert but Sapphire is suppose to be one of the better brands and the boost clock is higher. I don't know their potential for overclocking though.

  • Too bad 5700xt is around the corner, would've jumped on this

      Will be way more expensive.

I would have thought this would be cheaper by now?

  • MSI Gaming Radeon RX Vega 56 is $499, looks like reference design. (449 after shopback)

USA and europe have had 56s at $230-$260 usd/euro for the past 3 months… it's still cheaper to import. not buying until it's in the AUD$3xx range.

    • +2

      Import from where?

    • Will be an excellent buy if it hits $400~. As is I'm not sure I could recommend the card over a 2060 from the comp alliance deals.
