  Nice phone. Compares well with the Samsung Galaxy A30 and the Xiaomi Mi 8 at this price point. Only 6 months old. $349 at Kogan.

  It's a nice phone, decent deal, but bear in mind that it uses Samsung 48MP camera, which is not actually 48MP , Redmi Note 7 Pro uses Sony 48MP camera which is much better, lots of comparisons are available online. Check before you purchase this one.

    Not official, but AFAIK, no Xiaomi Redmi phones have had B28 apart from the Redmi note 3 Kate version.

        menvert.. Many listings for phones are inaccurate and the sellers dont care less. It is up to you to find out exactly what they are selling as it is almost impossible to get a refund if it is not as advertised.

      Nukkels… Not true. Redmi Note 5, 6 & 7 with model numbers ending in H have B28. The Xiaomi Mi8 Lite and other models also have B28. I have a H version RN5 with it.

    It's pretty confusing and seems kind of random. Some of the Global ones seem to have it and some don't. The 3gb+32G version on gearbest (just over aus$200 + gst), this one doesn't, yet the official web site lists it as having it.

      Do not believe the bands quoted on some sites… they just copy and post incorrect listings from other sites.
      The only place I have seen that you can buy a genuine H version RN7 from is B&H New York.

  This phone with Gcam (which doesn't need to be rooted/unlocked, just download APK) is amazing, better than the girlfriends iphone XS in low light w/ night sight

  Awesome phone, add GCAM and the pictures are insane for the price.

  Pros
  -14h screen on time
  -IR Blaster
  -Sweet camera
  -Just received May 2019 security patch
  -decent screen and teardrop notch

  Cons
  -B28 (doesn't affect me)
  -No NFC (Living without it now, not a deal breaker for me)
  -Notifications icons glitchy without 3rd part app (may be resolved on new update which I'm yet to install)
  -No wide angle lens camera (would be nice to have)
