Similar to the previous deal but now slightly cheaper $193.80. I believe they have track record of being slow, but appears that they have fulfilled their previous orders.

  • what dose it mean by "without Handsfree"

    • +1

I believe it means the package doesn't include a pair of earphones

Good, those awful little earbuds that come with every Android go straight in the bin.

        • they should stop packing rubbish with phones

  • Anyone have any idea if this has band 28? I've read the previous two threads and seems to be confirmed TA-1043 4/64 model but that doesn't seem to exsist…

Edit: has 4g 700 guess I'll give it a shot.

  • Does it have NFC?

    • It does

Is Toby deal trust worthy? In term of CS and warranty?

  • Cheapest shipping is #33 for me :(

    Standard Shipping Method AU$33.90
    - Shipping Time: 6-8 Working Days
    - Remote area surcharge is included.

Still a good deal for those who can get it cheaply….but $33 for postage is stupid compared to other business from overseas.

  • Be aware that there have been numerous report that the Nokia 6.1 has a low volume bug.

  • I just got one for my wife from tobydeals. It did take about 10 days to get here but other than that, it's fine. Came with cheapo Nokia earbuds and an Aussie adapter as it's a grey import model. Great phone for the money. Three in the family all working fine. Just look after the USB socket, my Nokia 7 plus is starting to have issues with it. I made the mistake of using it a lot when plugged in. I reckon that speeds up the socket getting loose.

  • Did anyone else order this phone? Mine is still showing processing. Wonder whether it's sort of on backorder. People have commented on other posts about selling without available stock.

    • +1

I did, same still processing. But if you read FAQs they can take 24-72hrs to package item excluding Saturday and Sunday. So give them till Tuesday or Wednesday next week before contacting them I guess.

      • Okay. Thank you.

        • Mine still showing processing and have emailed them yesterday and still haven't heard from them yet. If I don't hear from them soon will just put a dispute with Paypal.

            "Thank you for your message.

Luckily, I have been informed that we have a date set where we are expecting the new stock to come in.

Once the new stock has been unpacked, checked and processed in our system, we will ensure to pack and ship your order as soon as possible.
I would like to offer our apologies for the inconvenience caused by this delay.

I have bought 2 Nokia 6.1 in separate orders. I really like the phone and gave mine to my daughter.. It was purchased as a backup phone. Toby deals shipped promptly and Toll was great on the first order. On the second order they misplaced/ lost the package on arrival in Australia. They then found the phone but then the truck broke down on the way out to my house. They then were unable to locate the phone when I called the next day, It had been scanned into their depot but not out again. They raised a fresh investigation ticket and promised me a call back. I asked if it was safe to go out and do some banking and was advised yes that if it was coming it would be scanned back out. While I was out a misdelivery ticket was left in the mail box and I had to call to organize a redelivery. Toll gave me the option of collecting from their depot in Ashmore 80 minutes away. I needed to contact them 3 times to get my delivery. The phone was well packed and addressed by Toby Deals. In short Toby Deals was great Toll was hopeless.

  • Got the phone today and I got the bonus gift but it is a plastic screen protector instead of a tempered glass. Does anyone have the same, I am going to write to them and see what they will do as it is not as describe.

    • How did it come?

Was it sealed in box brand new or had been opened?

      • +1

I got mine today. The box is not sealed but it looks new. The phone still in protective plastic.

    • I was given both tempered glass and a plastic one. The tempered glass is poor quality anyway as the edges don’t stick so will need to go buy a better one.

      • Reported to Tobydeals and they refunded me with $5 for me to buy it locally

      • i think in this case you need to curve which even that wont 100% stick either

        • It was pretty bad all edges didn’t stick about 5-10mm. I’ll google up to see whether it’s phone design. If it is then may use plastic one instead.

          • @j1568: I can tell you it is , i have NOkia 6.1 and Nokia 7 plus , when i use a fit clear tempered glass protector it not fit on all edges. you will need to use a something like this: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/3D-Full-Coverage-Tempered-Glass-…

It is just the edge is covered by cover's black bit but the issue will still be there just you cant see it.

Or you could spend $20 for a full cover curve one which the glass may crack in no time depending on how you use your phone, have 2 kids and I need to replace my protector every month if I am lucky.

            • @SnoozeAndLose: Thanks. The one they gave is really bad. as its closer to 10mm thats not sticking on. It's on the display itself for the sides. I'll use it for now until I can find a better one or may have to use plastic one.

              • @j1568: it is very hard to put the plastic one on without getting bubbles

  • +1

Yes Sealed box with the tempered glass protector box.
