What's good to use on velocity point?
If you're not going to spend them on flights or flight upgrades, I'm not sure there's much point. You can transfer Velocity points to KrisFlyer (Singapore Airlines) points for better redemption options but they've recently made the conversion rate less attractive.
CRAP IT ALL! I just transferred my flybuys points 3 days ago. Any idea if Velocity will be nice enough to award me the 15% bonus? :(
just contacted via their fb page and was told to email the request with screenshot of the transfer. fingers crossed they honor it and award the bonus!

Edit - It came under 5 minutes :)
For those new to the process, the slider/converter only shows the base points, not the extra 15%. So 20k flybuys points comes to 10k (and a bit) Velocity FF miles. Transfers are pretty much instant.
Damn I've got 1977 points. If I bought something today does anyone know when it would get to my Flybuys account? I feel like it's a few days and not sure if weekends affect that?!
That’s less than $10 in flybuys dollars. I wouldn’t worry too much about missing out on the 15% promo in your case.
