@Pantagonist: Yep, massive rip! I did look at that as an initial option. We’ll be keeping the old ones for beaters, but battery life is only a few hours so no good for long stretches

That's a steal. They've price matched wrong version.
I couldn't even find the listing that eBay was claiming to have on offer for $479 - so didn't know if eBay's seller had the Pro or Pro 2! In the end it didn't matter as after about five minutes cursing eBay's sale layout, I grabbed them from Amazon at the price nubzy posted above :))

Last Saturday was gen 1 if you are referring Ebay deal. The Amazon one was a mistake price matched gen 2 to ebay's gen 1. Basiclly you won't see 4xx. For 3 cameras anytime soon. Though I wish TA could make 3 camera under 600. Lol

Well that was weird. Last weekend I bought an Arlo Pro 2 - 4 camera kit. I set it up tonight and it was flawless.
Tight arse’s post came along at a MUCH cheaper rate than I purchased at, so I bought a second one.I love a bargain

Hmmmm, having owned the Arlo for a yr now (Pro2’s) I would suggest caution. Of the 4 cameras 2 have so far died completely, just ceased working. I’ve hardwired all mine in place as well as the batteries don’t last that long. Sceptical about what happens after the warranty period
I read the review that one of the downside is that many features available only when connected to power. What are features important to you that are available only while connected to power?
Sure. When on battery the recordings miss everything! They record when they see something but it takes a second or two, on power mode it’s always recording so the recording starts before the event. To me they are useless with batteries.
Ok that's a big drawback … while I would consider Arlo for its battery.
I would now lean to getting Wyze camera if I have to connect the camera to power source anyway.
@peuwayaqdq: I'd suggest you download the manual online. Explains everything. The camera records back three seconds from an event start (motion detection) on battery - free cloud plan. Why would you want 23 hours of no action recorded in place of motion detection recordings which buffer back to just prior to the activation?

I like the airpods but their battery life is just terrible. I bought mine 2 years ago and currently they barely last more than 20 min phone call so pretty much useless. They also have constant sync issues. Shame as its a good product but yeah … battery life is poor if you are a heavy user.
Does it fit any better than the normal earbuds that come with iphones?
I have one that came with the work phone and the fit is so bad. Normally dont have issues with other earbuds.

You need to take them with you, as well as the tax invoice, usually in the original packaging to get the GST refunded.

I will laugh at you people when the battery died. The replacement battery cost almost the same as the new unit. Apple has alway being trying to milk money from their customer.

Slightly off-topic as I missed on the AirPods sale from this deal.

When I checked, only one was available and seller had sold 27 prior to that in the last 10 days only.
Does anyone see any issues? I didn't want to miss out on the last one so I bought it without much research. Apart from being overseas product (and only 1 year warranty), does anyone see any issues?
UPDATE: Looks like seller has added another one in the listing so they do have one more in stock. The price though seems to good to be true, however there appear to be some sort of eBay guarantee - whatever that means!

he told me the warranty of the product has gone.
It means . 1, the product is not brand new . or 2, this is a fake product by using a genius but expired serial number.

they will provide the return label, you do not need pay for the postage.
All you need to do is to open a return case which it does not match the description.

I am a security cam noob and had a question please. We have pathetic ADSL internet at the moment. Highly hopeful that the NBN jokers will give us better internet soon but with average speeds of 9/10 Mbps, would this be a good buy for us?

My adsl syncs at 1.5MBps. So yeah, pretty bad.
With 8 iDevices, TVs, printer and other crap connected to WIFI, it is still useable. Takes a little while for me to buffer viewing, as you view from the cloud (?), but it captures the footage fine. I think it uploads as it can.My commiserations on that speed.
