  • 12 core ……. monster

  • +3

The motherboards are 2-3x more expensive for these monsters compared to the standard Ryzen ones..

    • +1

Yeah because the motherboards have way more features and are high high end performance and quality so justify the price. But is a good price even I'm planing do update my rig by just spending 500 bucks next year Hahaha

  • +1

799-899 AUD retail for Ryzen 3900X on 8th of July. Alot of coins

    • +3

Exactly, no point grabbing this for the same price unless you need the extra PCI-E lanes or quad-channel memory performance.

  • This is AMD saying “This ain’t no sock in my pants”

    • -5

who puts a sock in their pants though?

more like this aint no push up bra
      fake lashes
      breast implants
      makeup
… well you get the idea

      muahahaha

        That you dislike females??

  • -1

I would have grab this if it works with the B450 chipset.

    • -6

why wouldn't it? i thought b450 chipsets were scheduled to receive bios updates?

      • +4

Have you ever heard of Threadripper???

      • +2

Yeah just have to fold the ends of the cpu over to fit and all good… make sure to fold a little from each side, not just one.

    • +1

It doesn't… for the sake of clearing up any ambiguity.

  • Best CPU name ever hands down. Just the biggest FU to Intel it’s great.

  • Hmmmm… Decisions this or the ryzen 3rd grn

    • 3900x will be am4

  • Waiting for Threadripper 3… managed to pick up a 2nd Threadripper board for $250.

  • If yahs don't need the features specific to threadripper and just want the cores wait for the zen 2 launch. 3900x is the same core/thread count wise, but waaaaay better single threaded performance.

    • +2

It will also eat less electrons.
