Someone needs an edumacation on Kung Fu being Chinese and Karate being Japanese :p
But don't worry. Neither did some dumbass executive who remade the Karate Kid with Jackie Chan and have it be about Kung Fu.
Well to be fair it was set in china and the kid was being taught kung fu so they had the right martial art being taught int eh right geographical location. They justified the "karate kid" title by making him a kid that had taken a few karate classes (hence the "karate kid") moving to china and learning kung fu.
Sounds like a nice deal. Been doing karate for 20 years and was thinking of switching to Kung Fu for someone different. I'd totally jump on a deal like this if I lived close to it.

Anyone see that Chinese video of the team from the local mma school going down to mix it up with the kung fu school, after the kung fu master boasted of kung fu"s superiority to any other style?

I went to a class here. It was amazing. Everyone was kung fu fighting, their kicks were as fast as lightning. Actually, it was a little bit frightening because they fought with expert timing.
