  • "PINENUT" This voucher cannot be applied for me. Can only get it for 2.5k after the 20% POLAR20 discount.

Ah no I'm not, sorry I must have glanced over that part and missed it in my excitement!

    If only it was a 65". :)

    • Yes, will only buy 65"

    • It also apply to the 65 inch! They have it listed for 3720!

  • B8 for $1460 was a better deal

    • +1

Yes and no - the C9 has the advantage of being HDMI 2.1 capable for next-gen consoles and has much more advanced Alpha 9 Gen2 processor vs the Alpha 7. The B8 was a great price for an entry-level OLED.

      • Does this support every feature that HDMI 2.1 adds? I don't want to buy something that sits in the middle ground for a bit

  • Same panels, processor doesn't make a huge difference according to reviews. HDMI 2.1 not really worth $700+ to me, there will be a new screen to buy by the time that is really required.
This is a pretty good deal given the B8 is pretty much sold out everywhere now though.

So you'll have no means to connect 4k120Hz devices, and you don't see how this is useful with a 4k120Hz TV?

Maybe wait for further price drops instead of creating bizarre logic.

      • -1

Do you seriously think 4k 120hz is going to have much content? It's tech that's not needed right now. If you really care about that you sure as hell wouldn't buy the first models as they are inevitably gimped.

        • -2

And there aren't people who need to buy soon, looking in at these comments?

In what world are you helping with your voting and remarks? The OzB clown car continues to pack in all the laughs.

As for the technical capability of this TV, the only thing it's really missing is a BFI mode that delivers 120Hz content, and that may wind up appearing in a firmware update.

There's no missing HDMI 2.1 functionality according to LG.

  • Looks like this code applies to all TVs.

Any comments on the 55 inch Samsung RU7100 vs Hisense 55R6 (older model)?

    • The 55R6 is a new 2019 Hisense model. Personally I'd pay the little extra for the 55R7 over both of these or try to find a 55P7 if they are not all sold out

  • Thought it was listed items but from all sellers :(

  • Are there any discounts for the 77 inch?

  • Currently have a 55" Sony X930D, tempted to upgrade to a 55" C9.

I have a 4K Apple TV and Xbox One X so I can feed it some Dolby Vision. Anyone else gone from a decent VA HDR LCD to a OLED? Worth it?

  • I own this model, best TV ever.

Using it as my main PC monitor.

Paid $2586 last month with a $638 discount when they were listed at $3190, so it's a good deal.
