1. Welcome Bonus offer
1.1. This offer commences on 24 June 2019 and is only available to the first 2,000 eligible New Members who
satisfy the applicable Eligibility Criteria set out below.
1.2. A member of the RateSetter Lending Platform who refers another person in accordance with the Eligibility
Criteria (‘Referring Member’) and a person who becomes a member of the RateSetter Lending Platform in
accordance with the Eligibility Criteria as a result of that referral (‘New Member’) are each entitled, pursuant
to clause 1.3, to receive $75 (the ‘Welcome Bonus’).
1.3. The Welcome Bonus will be credited by way of an addition of funds to the relevant member’s Portfolio.
For this purpose, the responsible entity of the RateSetter Lending Platform will treat the participation in the
Welcome Bonus offer by a Referring Member and a New Member as an application for an addition of funds to
the relevant Member's holding account, made at the time that the Welcome Bonus is paid.
1.4. Where a New Member becomes a member of the RateSetter Lending Platform in the capacity of a joint
member, a trustee or a company, only one Welcome Bonus will be paid to that Member under this offer.
1.5. The offer is not applicable in conjunction with any other promotional offer unless expressly indicated.
2. Referring Members
2.1. The Referring Member is eligible to receive the Welcome Bonus each time a New Member that they have
referred meets all the following conditions (the ‘Eligibility Criteria’):
2.1.1. The New Member registers as a member of the RateSetter Lending Platform by using the Referring
Member’s unique URL;
2.1.2. The New Member is accepted as a member of the RateSetter Lending Platform; and
2.1.3. The New Member transfers $2,000 or more into their holding account and places orders in the 3 Year
Income or 5 Year Income lending markets such that at least $2,000 is ‘on loan’ to borrowers.
2.2. A Referring Member may only make, and will only receive a credit for, a maximum of 5 completed
referrals during the term of this offer. Members who wish to make more than 5 referrals may be eligible for

2.3. If a New Member has previously been a member of the RateSetter Lending Platform, then neither the
Referring Member nor the New Member are eligible for this offer in relation to that referral.
2.4. For privacy reasons, RateSetter will not inform the Referring Member as to the identity of any New
Member who has registered as a member and/or met the applicable Eligibility Criteria.
2.5. All referrals must be made directly by the Referring Member and not via a third party.
2.6. Any Referring Member who holds an AFSL, acts as an authorised representative under another person’s
AFSL, carries on business as a financial advisor or planner, or otherwise carries on a financial services business
in accordance with the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) is ineligible to receive a Welcome Bonus.
3. New Members
3.1. A New Member is eligible to receive the Welcome Bonus upon meeting the Eligibility Criteria.
3.2. A New Member can receive at most only one Welcome Bonus under this offer.
3.3. The use of a false name or address when registering to become a member of the RateSetter Lending
Platform will result in the Eligibility Criteria not being met and the Referring Member and the New Member
not being eligible for the Welcome Bonus.
4. Other terms

4.1. Referrals generated by a script, macro, robot or any other automated process not authorized in writing by
RateSetter Australia will be void.
4.2. No responsibility can be accepted for referrals lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in
transit.
4.3. Any amounts payable to a Referring or New Member are not transferable to another individual or member
and no other alternatives will be offered.
4.4. RateSetter Australia reserves the right to amend or alter this offer and reject referrals from Members not
entering into the spirit of the promotion.
4.5. RateSetter Australia reserves the right of ownership of any member-generated content submitted to the
promotion and unreserved rights of reproduction in any marketing or promotional media that it sees fit.
4.6. Confirmation of a valid referral will be emailed to the Referring Member before the Welcome Bonus is
credited.
4.7. Members may incur a tax liability in relation to the Welcome Bonus. Any tax liabilities arising under this
promotion are those of the relevant member.
4.8. Any amount payable under this offer is inclusive of GST (if applicable). You will tell us if you have a liability
for GST in respect of any amount payable under this offer. If you have a liability for GST, you will provide us
with a tax invoice for the supply within 28 days of the payment.
4.9. The promotion may be modified or withdrawn at any time. In the event that RateSetter modifies the
promotion, any Referring or New Member will only be entitled to the Welcome Bonus that was applicable at
the time that the relevant person follows the referral link and registers as a Member.
4.10. Where this offer is withdrawn in accordance with clause 4.9, RateSetter will provide 5 days’ notice to
Members via their website. All approved new membership applications made before the offer is withdrawn
will be honoured, provided that New Members satisfy all the Eligibility Criteria.
4.11. The Welcome Bonus will be paid within 30 days of the relevant Eligibility Criteria being met.
4.12. You cannot refer yourself or any entity related to you under this offer.
4.13. In this agreement, unless defined in this document or the context otherwise requires, terms have the
same meaning as set out in the Product Disclosure Statement of the RateSetter Lending Platform.
4.14 RateSetter is not liable in any way for any claim or loss arising out of or in connection with referrals,
including but not limited to improperly processed referrals or the provision of a Welcome Bonus.
4.15 Payments will not be made to a Referring Member if to do so would contravene any law, including but not
limited to Future of Financial Advice (FOFA) laws.
4.16 Each Referring Member acknowledges that in making a referral to RateSetter they are not providing any
general or personalised advice in any form to any person.
4.17. This agreement will be governed by and construed according to the laws in force in the State of New
South Wales. Each party unconditionally and irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of Courts with
jurisdiction in New South Wales and all appellate Courts from such Courts.
5. Privacy
5.1 We may collect and disclose personal information in relation to this Promotion to third parties who assist
us in conducting the Referral Program. This may include your email address and name.
