Apple Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad $157.30 + $16.95 Delivery @ iFrog

60

Cheapest price for Magic Keyboard with Numeric Pads in Australia. I managed to pricebeat at officeworks with no issues.

OW actually pricematched it to $149.93.

What's the price then? Should be in title.

RRP and deal price in title?

    • $157.30 + $16.95 delivery to Sydney 2000

      • $179 elsewhere so $4.75 or ~2% saving.

        • the deal is to get OW to price beat it

Q: Why are these so expensive? A: Magic.

Getting people to pay that much for an ordinary bluetooth keyboard is a magic trick I wish I could do!

This keyboard is absurd at this price point. You can get an amazing mechanical keyboard at the price instead of this laptop keyboard.

Don’t forget to factor in the cost of being a fedora if you buy a mechanical keyboard.

Not arguing over the price (I mean, is anything Apple good value), but personally, I much prefer this sort of keyboard compared with a loud mechanical keyboard. Keyboards are very much a personal preference thing. I actually really like the feel of the (unreliable) macbook keyboard even though the 1st generation one was an instant nope.

  • $175 for a keyboard is a bargain? Wow.

  • It's a kind of magic

at least you can use this keyboard while charging, not like the so magically mouse

The only thing that's magic about this keyboard is how much profit Apple makes off selling it :P

    • Let me guess, you’ve never actually used a butterfly keyboard?

Worked for them for 5 years (in the golden years), owned MBP, iphones and iMac's. More recently I purchased a new MBP when the touch bar came out.. it shit the bed while running time machine for the first time a week after purchasing it. It corrupted it's own onboard SSD chips to the point were the MBP didn't recognise any storage media (Confirmed at the Apple store while the machine was booted from their own BOH Genius bar servers). The irony is that I lost data while trying to back it up. Got a full refund but tough luck about loosing my data.

Used it, hated it, not alone and that's why Apple has announced publicly they changing the keyboard design.
