    Pricematch at OW for $711.55

    • That would be insanely cheap for a phone released less than 6 months ago …

    • Just called my local OW they will price match 749+59 (prime membership fee) 808-5%

      JBHIFI will price match

    • +2

I got ow to price beat. Butby the time I got to the shop Amazon had it for 729 so I got the s10e for $692 :D

      One happy chappy

  • +8

Not sure if they will pricematch a price only available for paying prime members. seems like their kind of technicality

  • So cashrewards cashback is "up to 12%. Wonder if this item qualifies for full 12%?

    • +4

i believe its 3% at cashrewards and 4.5% at shopback

      • can we get both?

        • No.

        • I believe one will cancel out the other, so you can only use one.

    Gr8 price

  • How does this Sony X70F compare with the usual Samsung 65" UA65NU7100W that comes up on sale

  • Does X70F have Dolby Vision and Atmos?

  • Wow the reviews for this tv on amazon are horrendous.
    Light bleed, crappy wifi etc.

    • +2

Yeah Sony tv division is bleeding since years ago, can't make good sales

    • +1

Have the 55 version as bedroom TV. Yeah, for main room/lounge room TV I'd want something a higher level up.

    • Its actually an OK tv, with basic essential features and a sub par remote. For under $1000 I'm really not sure what people expect, I bought a long time ago around the $1500 mark, when comparable TV's were $2000+. This model always seems to be around $500 below the next best thing. Apart from the reviews left for TV's with obvious manufacturing defects the others in my view are not really fair given the current price range of the product (the reviewers probably paid $1500-2000 for their item).

    • The light bleed and manufacturing flaws have been fixed. You'll see those complaints stopped at the end of 2018.

I can't speak to the wifi quality, but the smart TV functions are so crappy that a Fetch or Shield is near mandatory, which renders the wifi quality a non-issue.

At least I hope so, seeing as I pulled the trigger on this a few minutes ago.

  • Any opinions on how the Samsung 10e here compares to the Huawei Mate 20 from JB? I need a phone capable of good photos and quickly opening large PDF's of building schematics. My current HTC 10 still does the job but Bluetooth is failing and JB refuse to fix it again (aboutthe 4thtime) as its now 2 months past warranty.

    • +2

I'd go with the s10e just cos of the form factor, expandable storage, 3.5mm jack and all day 3000mah battery. And no notch!

      • thanks, appreciate the info

    • +1

S10e will be significantly better than your HTC.

      • Thanks. Seems the S10e might be my replacement choice atm.

  • Anyone knows the difference between barefoot investor 2018 vs 2019 version?

    • +1

The update from the 2018 Version includes revised figures as well as -

The recent Royal Commission into the banking sector.
Afterpay-is it good or bad ?
Changes to the federal budget .
The declining housing market & saving for a home.

  • Ask the community - should I go for the S10e or the A70? :-)

    • s10e

  • X70F 65" is only $20 more at Big W

    https://www.bigw.com.au/product/sony-65-x70f-led-4k-ultra-hd…

Afterpay available too if you dont like credit cards.

    • that’s not a bargain then. still save $20 at amazon lol

      • It would be a bargain if it was purchased using 5% off WISH Gift Cards (down to $949.05).

  • S10e back to $987
