  • Wasn't this around $800 a month ago…?

    • You talking about the P30?

    • You are probably thinking P20 Pro

      what freefall??

I personally own the P30 Pro and no way I would trade it back! Worth every dollar. Prices have been consistent if anything.

second that. there are some great features that even Google learns from Huawei, I personally love the x50 zoom + screen recording + call recording* + battery life + fast charge + night shoot etc

They're really not; The cost drop is ONLY in western markets, which is a drop in the ocean of their sales.

    • You probably mistaken this for the p30 pro, but this is the base p20 model from last year(or last last year? can't remember)..

Lol, for 60 cents more, I got the P20 Pro off Amazon :p

  • P20 is a good phone and the pro version is even better. I will definitely get one if the p20 pro is at this price point.

Does it come with China spyware preloaded?
I prefer the standard Google spyware.

      Big brothers are watching.

Hey buddy, I realized you have huawei phone in your cart, you know that Chinese spy will have access to that phone right? That is very dangerous.

Yeah Mate, how did you know that?

You are using an iphone, right?

      Not really.

Umm, then you must be using google, or do you have facebook app installed? Never mind, we have our source. Heard of PRISM before?

      I never understood that logic.
For arguments sake, lets just say that each has 100% spyware.

What risk does a corrupt Chinese government pose to you, an Australian (or American).
For comparison, what risk does a corrupt Western government (pick one) pose to you?

      In my view;
If china want to start "Laying charges" on me, big whoop, their 'claims' would have very little power.
On the flip side, if a Western country wished to do the same, I feel they could cause much more of an impact in my life.

Huawei signed a 'do not spy' agreement with UK government recently.
Whileas, Google, Apple and Microsoft refused to sign.

neg this comment all you want. But it is funny to accuse Chinese government spying on ppl (make no mistake, i don't think they are good asses), while we totally forgot what has been revealed in wikileak of the USA government's good deed.

tired of hearing spying crap..both just bad as each other and freaking delusional Chinese doesn't have backdoor, it's matter of choice which guys you want to be spied or have you data sent to.
