  • You can also get $15 off your first order in July by using code 'JULY15'

    • Does VEGAN20, JULY15 and referral codes stack up?

      • +1

They don't unfortunately.. But my first order was with VEGAN20 then placed a second order with JULY15 :)

  • We charge $15.00 per delivery. There is an additional charge of $5.00 for each extra box.

    So if you order 14 meals (lunch and dinner for a week) they charge $15 + (13 x $5) = $80 for delivery ?

    • Nope, I ordered 10 meals which came in one box so I paid $15 for delivery :)

    • +3

I've ordered 21 meals couple of times, came in 1 box
Not buying anymore from them for awhile, Last box had barely any veggies so much on ingredients missing.
Looked like they stacked it up with rice/onions to fill the weight. This was about a month ago

      • Looked like they stacked it up with rice/onions to fill the weight.

        Thanks for the warning…

      • Did you buy a certain pack? How much did it total for 21 meals?

        • It was about $200 including delivery fee
no packs just picked what I wanted, The first few orders were good just the last 1 put me off I dunno if I'll go back. They also used lots of capsicum to make up for the missing veg on some meals. some of the meals loaded with onion didn't even have onion on ingredient list.
If it's your first order you should be right, They usually try to impress with the first 1 so might as well, Just a heads up later on it may not be as good.

      • I’ve seen quite a few people mention this lately. They used to be good before they downsized all their large meals and upped the prices

  • HOT20 is also a long time first order code

  • Are they worth it? Looking at $140 before discount and delivery.

  • +1

I used to enjoy their meals but agree with previous poster - the quality has gone downhill.

  • +1

I know that I can cook my own meals for far cheaper, but I'll give them a go given this discount. I'm vego so many of these services are usually a bit mediocre, or at best have a limited number of meals that get old fast.

I have been using Youfoodz so I thought I'd give My Muscle Chef ago for something different. The YF size is a touch small but good price, so we shall see :)

    • Big problem I found with YF, it's aimed at portion control but I'm 6'3" so I'm not going to be limiting myself to 1000 calories a day any time soon (I lose weight at 2000 calories). If they had a few more 400-500 calorie meals I'd be all over it.

Although I've found it's just easier to throw things in the slow cooker each weekend, quicker than the amount of time I used to spend hunting around all these prepackaged meal sites and a darn site tastier.

      • Haha fair call! I mainly do it for the convenience but slow cooker meals do the trick too!

  • $25 delivery to Perth metro kills it for me, I'll stick with the others.

    • Ahh bummer! I might be because they are based out of NSW and haven't scaled out like YF :(

Had MMC for quite a few weeks but they all start tasting similar after a while and really lack vegetables. I've also tried YF and the meals are simply not satisfying enough.

I'd recommend people look at www.macros.com.au

Been ordering from them for a few weeks now the food is clean and nutritional and tastes great.

    • +1

I'll have a look macros, thanks for the suggestion. I don't like all the additives in YF, the quality of their food has really gone downhill. MMC was tasty, but I'm looking for something that's healthy with lots of veg

Wouldn’t recommend these guys. They were decent until they changed their menu and downsized all their large meals + increased pricing.

Ignore the positive reviews on product review, most have to be fake. Have a read through the negative ones..

  • Been a few comments about MMC - I ordered a week worth of food for my partner and I, I really enjoyed the quality and taste!

Would suggest anyone tempted to give them ago to do so and make your own mind up :)
