Nice dining table for $299 + delivery

Normally $749 + delivery

Sale ends close of business Tuesday

Size: L 1800mm x D 950mm x H 770mm

Appearance is very solid, thick legs with worn wood appearance.
Note as per the comments below, the table top is actually MDF with wood veneer on top.

Not everyones cup of tea but I like it a lot.

  • Says 'Was $749' for me.

    • I have adjusted the post. Pretty sure it said $799 in-store but agree $749 on the web site…

    • Made from Solid Acacia and MDF Laminated with Acacia Venee
    • +2

Pretty sure the legs are the solid part and the table top is the MDF with veneer.

I did it last time to buy some chairs that were on sale.

  • Looks average I suspect the top will start to bow in the middle soon as weight is placed on it.

    • How much weight are we talking?

      150kg??

It looks a lot better in real life than the photos do.

For $299 please show me a better table.

  • I've had a similar table give it time it will definately bow in the middle just from regular general use there is no centre support.

    • Fair enough. Hard to argue with experience.

I did have a quick look under the table (to check the legs connection) - I dont think there is any centre support. The edges of the table may also be solid timber but the table top must be the MDF with veneer on top.

It's 1800mm wide so it is a fair span of MDF - I get what you are saying about a lack of centre support and time.

I guess its a matter of getting what you pay for. It does come with a 5 year guarantee so I am pretty sure if it bows within that 5 years you have a right to claim. I may actually ask the question of Amart….
