  • The combo with filter is OOS and there is only one unit available.

  • Anyone used the filter, any good?

    • Yes I like mine, but have only had it for two months. Although I regret not configuring it for china region, which apparently gives more options on altering the automatic fan setting. Haven't had to to change the filter yet.

  • @Gearbite Is the antibacterial filter an extra filter - i.e you will receive two filters?

    • I checked with Gearbite, they confirmed combo pack will come with extra purple filter.
So two filters altogether. Which works for me as I already have another purifier at home and was needing a new filter anyway.

  • Bought the pack, thanks OP!
Can vouch for gearbite, they've been great with comms and been able to sort out issues I've had in the past with other xiaomi products they've sold.

  • I think the Dick Smith one two days ago was better. I bought a 2s and Pro for $159 and $249 respectively. Total shipping was $30.

  • The air purifier has been $159 from Kogan/Dick Smith at least twice recently.

  • I just bought this a week ago and not too sure what it's doing - maybe my room doesn't need it. I see the PM2.5 range from 1-5 according to the screen but somehow I'm already down 2% on the filter.

Also - are there any good deals on the antibacterial filter alone?

  • I only use it whenever I got Sick or there is a bushfire.

  • I have a couple of them - I honestly hardly notice the difference also but have also bought some of these: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/15pcs-Thickening-Electrostatic-C… to collect any thicker dust in a hope that I can get much more life out of the filters… when I cook, etc. i do notice the pollution index increase. I mainly bought them because of the amount of construction and airbourne pollutants that come with it due to westconnex and the pending F6 tunnel…not sure they have much effect though!

  • Thanks OP. Ordered 2s.

  • The mi home app can't scan the purifier, which region server do you guys connect the device to?

    • +1

Getting the same issue, I was able to add it to my mi app but when I access the 2s, I get "failed to initialize device (7)".

Has anyone else seen this problem and found a solution? I’ve got other mi devices which I can connect to no issues.

Got it sorted. Change your location to Australia.

  • how often does the filter need changing? also, will little hands get to the blades at the top?

  • +1

I just got mine the other day and I can't connect it to the Mi Home app. When I change the region from China to Australia it works, but I have other Xiaomi gadgets that only work in China and it's generally the recommended region to use. Is there some kind of region restriction put on these?

  • Dammit I always seem to miss deals on these by a few weeks!
Is everyone happy with the device?

    • Yeah I am. I have two at home.
