  • newbie Qn - will it fit honda civic sedan?

    • Keen to know this as well

      • +1

What year? 2016 and later models are 26inch driver and 18inch passenger

        • Yr 2013. Will measure it. Assuming that's the only thing we need to check?

          • @superm86: I checked sca website.. they state 2013 has 26 and 22 pair

          • @superm86: Pretty certain they will not, the hook is slightly different on late model civics and they often put parts/caps on the side to stop people from putting typical replacements on. Some 2010+ models can run the curved wipers like the Trico Force blades but from my experience seems hit and miss depending on the arm.

If you want to check just look at the wiper, if it is just a typical hook with nothing on the side of it you should be fine.

    • Yeah my 2006 Accord is 26" and 18". Pity, I need a new set.

      • Check store stock, they have been on clearance at this price for a few weeks now so stock is dwindling… Could try call your store with part numbers and see if they can get in from elsewhere?

  • what size would fit an outlander 2013?

      • Sorted by Repco..however they are excellent quality, considering the price..works fine..didn't needed to change for my camry but changed them anyway..

If you don't know your blade size, use the "find my wiper blades" database here: https://www.wipertech.com.au/

  • how much are they normally?

  • +2

Try the costco wipers if you can. Very happy after getting sick of cheapies.

Someone from here recommended them to me.

    • Costco sell Good Years wiper

      • Yer. Just another option. The cheapos are so bad sometimes. Not sure about this deal in particular.

        • +2

wait until Costco goes on special around $8 each

      • +3

They're actually Michelin (at least in VIC)

        • The one they sell in Auburn is Goodyear's may be they have different brand throughout the year

only offers c&c ? no delivery option…no stock nearby and cbf travelling :(
but otherwise seems like a bargain.

  • Too bad.

    My Kia Rio 2007 needs

16" for passenger side (not available)
    22" driver side (available)

    • +1

Do you need to change the passenger side too?

      • Yes..Passenger side also needs replacing..Wonder if i can get away with replacing only one ?

        • +1

It is recommended to change in pairs, but nothing stops you from replacing one blade.

  • Yep stupid Mondeo 26/16" but good deal if your size is there

    • +1

Same. Corolla needs 26"/14". No deal for me :(

  • Just the refills alone costed me $26 on last Tuesday at Auto Barn. These are a steal, bought two of them anyway for future. Thanks OP :)

  • Great bought 2 drivers wipers for my vy..no passenger wipers in stock..going to collect now

  • Awesome, was in the market for new blades! My car is showing 24" and 18" on SCA, but 24/17 on WiperTech, ordered 24/18 anyway as I think it should be all good, thanks heaps!

    • +1

Wouldn't it be better to go smaller than bigger? Or better yet, go measure them?

      • +1

Just measured it and it's 18", so should be in the clear.

  • +1

How do these compared to 'frameless' wipers? Like the aero twin style blades.

  • +3

Very cheap, but quality is very poor. I think spending a little more for quality is worth it as these one last me less than a year.

  • havent changed wipers in 5 years when to do it

    • Only when they squeal or leave streaks on the screen.
      Or are physically split

    • Wow! You probably garage your car in garage or shaded carport and not drive too much?

  • yep my ford need a 26" an a 16"

  • +4

These are junk. I returned 2 sets, chattering on the first set and streaking due to small split in the rubber on the 2nd.

Also here's a good tip on keeping the rubber in good shape, https://youtu.be/gEoOWgV6Dl8
Basically use a hair dryer to heat it up and dip it in 303 or uv conditioner.

  • +3

I think "Buy cheap, buy twice" definitely applies here.

Worth spending a little more for good quality wipers.
They'll last longer and be cheaper in the long run as well as being safer when you can actually see where you are going.

    • +2

Yeah. $20 each for good quality blades is not that big of an ask for something you replace every few years.
These ones you'll be replacing in 6-12 months again and probably have low visibility before you do.

  • Apparently I need a 16" too
