Just browsing around for TVs and came accros this. Not sure if it's a great deal, but less than 1K for 65" and a Sony even though it's ex-display.

Comes with full warranty.

Ex-display = worse than 2nd hand, TV has been running 24/7. Never buy ex-display.

  More likely to have been running during store hours only. Electricity isn’t free and businesses aren’t stupid. However they probably just cut the power to the TV’s which may not be much better (300 odd hard shutdowns / restarts).

  I bought an ex display Samsung set in 2013 and couldn't be happier with it. After about 3 years something failed in it but they fixed it for free. The same thing happened again about 6 months ago and cost $400 to fix. I can't say with certainty that the set being ex-display had anything to do with its failures, but either way I'm still ahead financially.
