          When you're ready to port, then you activate the SIM.

          You must redeem the coupon by 16th August. Then you can port whenever you like.

          No, just email counts as a new customer. You can keep the existing number by porting out and back in.

          Heard you can keep your service too, but I’m not too familiar with it.

      New can be defined as porting your number back in even if you have previously used Amaysim and you can use your existing email and login.

      You just can't use this to recharge an existing Amaysim plan.

    During the redemption process, I was asked to provide my current number and service provider, as well as my consent to transfer. Does anyone know when they'll port my number? Will I be able to use my current service before activating the sim card from amaysim? Just confused

      Yes I was confused as well when switching but what happens is they dont finalize the porting process until you confirmed that you receive the sim card in the mail.

          whats confusing is that they ask for some of your port details before you receive the sim.

    Question for anyone that has used these vouchers before, how to check when all your auto renewals are done??

    I got one of these earlier this year and I don't remember if it was 6 months or 8 months and on the website under the plan details section it only shows the date of next renewal, not when the vouchers end. How do I make sure I don't end up automatically renewing for the full fee when my vouchers expire soon??

      Click "Manage My Plan" and find info saying the Promo end date after activation process. Amaysim calculates it based on your offer (4 or 6 renewals) with possibly extra 7 days. After that end date, your free renewal ends. Thus, your last renewal must be on or before that date in order to be valid. I am pretty sure the promo end date is set when you buy the plan, i.e. redeem groupon voucher, not when you activate the SIM. In other words, with no other conditions, if you activate the SIM more than 30 days after buy it, you may lose the last renewal. Here 16 AUG is the condition. I think this is to prevent someone to activate it many days/months later to prolong the plan.

      You do need to wait till your last renewal takes effect to disable auto renewal or just leave payment method to BPAY/Vouchers now.

    This popped up at the perfect time. Im on a crap Aldi Plan and i don't want to spend 5c for every MB! My phone is dual sim so i can use one for data and the other for calls texts ect. Cheap temporary solution for four months until i get off my crappy aldi plan!

    Basically, if I sign up I get a new number and new sim sent to me? I just want an extra SIM for a few things. I assume I basically keep it for 4 months and then close it or look at any pre-paid plans?

      Yes, but make sure you change your payment details from credit card so that you don't get auto-recharged.
