The 470/806 have been available at this price in my local woolies for a couple of weeks. Nearly gone by now.

In VIC there are contractors for the govt who go around replacing tungsten and spiral bulbs with LED bulbs.
They are almost always indian and seem very eager to do it for you, not that I'm complaining. I think I had 12 of them changed over for free.
I already had some LED bulbs in the home. What I should have done is swapped them out for spiral globes before he came and got more LED globes.
Weird that Coles aren't trying to match
The heat sinking keeps on getting worse in these bulbs. Even if they step down to a lower output i can see lots of people having issues?
