  • Saw the same mark down in an ACT Aldi last week but not enough stock to be worth posting - wonder if this is a standardised clearance price for any stores that still hold stock of these 4Ah packs since it's not using the custom "reduced" stickers.

(too bad I already put together a Workzone(tool)-AEG(batt) adapter)

    • +1

Do you happen to know where I can buy the reverse adapter?

Xfinity battery to AEG or Bosch.
Quick google don't return satisfied results.

      • I made mine by getting a mate to 3D print breakout boards people have made on Thingiverse then I did the electricals to put them together.
I found pre-built ones pretty much cost as much as just buying a battery + charger set anyway which made it pointless for my usage.

    • Which one in ACT?

      • Canberra Centre but this was back on Wednesday.

  • I've been waiting on my local Aldi for a while to reduce their price, holding firm till this morning. They mentioned head office makes the clearance call, but doesn't seem so.

  • $29.99 at my local Aldi (qld)

  • if aldi had brushless too.s against bunnings ozito it would be game on …..but no brushless aldi.

    • Aldi were selling a brushless 20v drill driver skin not so long ago rated at 50nm which is comparable to the equivalent Ozito brushless offering. It utilizes a touch/pressure sensitive trigger as opposed to a traditional trigger which I suspect that some people will like but some people will probably hate.

(the problem with Aldi obviously, as has been pointed out ad-infinitum, is that if you're not stalking their catalogues getting what you want from them is often a matter of luck, which is a bit absurd, though I'm sure it works out for their bottom line regardless)

    • YOu dont need brushless. Unless you're a tradie (and then you dont buy ozito/aldi). And ozito/aldi arent even covered under warranty if you so happen to use them such that your break them (ie. you're a tradie not diy).

  • mine only down to $29.99

  • My local Aldi is still $39.99?

    • In most cases discounts are store-specific because stock movement can be very region-dependent.

  • They contain 10 18650 batteries that can be removed with some care. $2 each !! Panasonic brand also I believe. Good for vapes and torches that use 18650.

  • can this be used to charge a laptop somehow via usb c cable?

  • None left this morning.

  • That was fast. There were 11 left at 7pm yesterday. Far left isle at the back.

    • They had a bunch of chargers and one 2AH & charger pack but no 4AH batteries that I could see this morning.

      • Just picked one up, they have 4 left now.

        • I must need to clean my glasses - looked everywhere but couldn't find any

  • Ive been waiting and checking for our Local ( Mitcham SA ) to reduce pricing as they had heaps of stock left and they finally did after a month or more of checking weekly but they only reduced to $29. Bought a couple at that price as Ive never seen ours drop pricing to $19
