    • +1

      So no…

  • why we cant get the promotion headphone

    • +1

Only participating retailers, of which Allphones is not.

    • +1

Many would settle for the headphone jack

  • -1

Buy it from Samsung Student/corporate store and get 20% off.

  • At JBHIFI if you sign up with their Telstra BYO plans ($65pm 80gb data) you get $500 off + $100 gift card = $1399 (for the Note10plus 5G 512gb).

Plus you are eligible for the bonus AKG wireless headphones($499).

    • Is this offer still going on?

      • +1

$2,659 over 24months‬ inc $500 discount on phone and $100 gift card.

        • if you do it online, only paying $1749 for a 5G version

          $1699+ 50(1month fees)

          • @CDG: i've been looking into this. I've been reading that people have been changing their jb hifi contracts into a month to month contract through telstra? and others are getting a $10 port in monthly credit?

I'm wondering what the best deal is. At the moment I'm considering the note 10+, 512 (5g), taking into account the port in $500 off, headphones valued at "$499" (hoping I can flog these off for at least $200), and $100 in JB coupon

Then I'm contemplating either going to month to month (if I've read correctly on these forums), or otherwise asking for a $10 monthly port in bonus (if its still on offer?)

            • @koom: can JB do month to month plan and still get $500 off the phone ?

              • @CDG: well the way i'm looking at it, you initially sign up for the 24 month plan at jb hifi, but then you simply change over to month to month online without early termination fee

                https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/476384?fbclid=IwAR093ah0he…

I could be wrong, but that's how I'm reading it.

                • @koom: that would be a pretty good deal in that case!!!!

                • @koom: any update if you can do that??

                • @koom: wont work, confirmed with JB and telstra, if you signed up and change to month to month plan in the first month, there's $780 exit fees.

                  • @CDG: bugger! i thought i was on to something there. oh well, I will have to figure out some other scam if there is one.

  • Is there a 5G and a Non 5G version of N10+?
I honestly do not care about 5G and do not want to fork out extra for that.

    • +2

Yes, you end up paying $300 more, which is not worth the money as the 5G infrastructure is not that good now.

      • and access fees on top of that.

    • -1

The 5G has 12GB RAM instead of 8GB and 512GB Storage instead of 256GB. That's mainly the difference you are paying for just like the top of the 5G access (which adds extra premium to your phone plan).

      • +6

All the Note 10 Plus are 12GB Ram only the storage is different 256Gb instead of 512Gb.

        • Holy shit?
          That much ram?

      • I would wait for 5G phone- just to make it future proof.

  • Will a CC with price protection work on a claim from the same store? So buy it at 15% but the invoice should show $1699 for the 10+ then I can potentially claim the price difference? So I'll be getting $400+ off (ideally)… Will this work?
