Jeenee Mobile 12-Month Contract Phone Plans - $24.90 for 30GB [First 6 Months, Then $29.90], $19.90 for 15GB

100

I just moved from my elapsed Optus 12 month SIM only plan to Jeenee mobile. Ported over yesterday. Jeenee uses Optus' 4G network.

The best options are (prices listed are monthly):

$8.98 for 5GB (first 6 months, then changes to $12.50 moving forward)
$19.90 for 15GB (for the life of the plan)
$24.90 for 30GB (first 6 months, then changes to $29.90 moving forward)

I moved from $36 a month for 30GB with Optus, to Jeenee's 30GB option. Jeenee uses the same network, so signal will be the same.

I called customer service once with a question before I signed up. Spoke to a local and didn't have to wait in a queue. I can't comment on post-sale support though, however I'd be surprised if worse than Optus.

No problems porting. I activated Tues night, and was cut over the following morning. Ports within same network take longer than to another network, however didn't experience any issues. Calls cut over about 1 hour before 4G was active, however that was expected. Only downside I can think of compared to Optus is no data pool option, and no perks program, if that's important to you. Neither are worth the extra monthly cost in my situation.

I would hop to Jeenee if slim hopping isn't feasible anymore.

Ok until you miss a payment which charges you $15

    • How long after the due date do they consider a missed payment?

if you miss your payments by 1-2 days, they will whack you with a $15 dishonour fee in the next month

    excess data @ $10/gb

    no international roaming

    • That's pretty standard across the board, right?

      • depends on your preference

aldi has less data but comes with rollover, and any excess data charged at payg rate of 5cents/MB , unlike this suddenly extra $10 charged with no option to stop it.

        aldi also has international roaming.

        • It's pretty neat that Aldi has 5cents/MB plans for excess data. I've definitely copped a $10 excess charge before lol

Tempting but love my premier league so the free optus sports with my current plan comes in handy.

    • Definitely worth it if you're into soccer. It's great that that's free. I just never used it.

  • Ive used Jeenee for years, absolutely love them!

  • 8.98 for 5gb a month is good!

  • I've been with them for two years. Great company. Easy to ready bill. Sim card was in letter box quick. I've got 3 numbers on one bill for $45 a month (Mum, Dad and me). Much cheaper and great Optus 4G coverage in Darwin
