I am still waiting for the charger and batteries from the last time you put up this deal.

    • +1

      Me too…

    • +1

Sorry guys vendor screwed up and sent us incorrect part number. This has been rectified and correct stock arrived today, with most orders sent out same day.

Instead of sending back we're offering up to OzB members. Free postage + option for adding discounted 1500 cycle batteries included. This lot will certainly leave quickly as they are here now

      • Free postage + option for adding discounted 1500 cycle batteries included??

        • +1

          Sorry maybe explained wrong

You can add extra batteries to the charger which are 1500 cycle at discounted rates.
These battery packs are heavily discounted off normal retail prices when you buy with charger

  • +2

I'm still waiting for mine too; ordered on the 25th, no confirmation that it has been shipped out…
First time buying from Jungle jumble, not impressed at all.

    • +2

Sorry Montorola - We were more shocked than you can believe to find our vendor had sent the wrong units. The last thing we were going to do was send you out the incorrect item for obvious reasons. Again I am truly sorry about this unforeseeable delay. Apart from the delay - the vendor has made good from the mishap hence this deal.

If you wish to call me to discuss, 1300 11 99 15.

      • So didn't mine, I ordered on 27th, haven't received any confirmation of shipping out~~~~

        • ok, I just got my battery, thx.

  • I ordered 10 min ago and I hope I get mine with no probs.

    thanks. certainly great deal.

    JOE

    • Thanks for your order Joe.

No issues ongoing until the 200 run out. We won't be able to get this pricing again, limited offer due to the prior vendor stuff up only.

  • Good Deal! Just placed an order. Good luck.

  • There's no problems using other rechargeable batteries with the Enloope charger and vice versa?

    • Charger works with all rechargeable Nimh. The batteries are the unique part of this deal, for sure.

  • +1

Good deal, ordered +4 extra AA.

  • -1

not sure if its only me that thought this deal is not even good enough compare to last one. 1000 cycles is very old stock. the latest stocks are all 1500 cycles and with the $3.10 cheaper it is still not a deal.

  • 4x AA 1500 cycle ones @ $17.95 delivered http://junglejumble.com.au/sanyo-eneloop-4x-aa-nimh-recharga…

    • Do they require a designated Eneloop recharger or will a normal NiMH recharging cradle do the job?

      • You can use any charger. Recommend a better quality charger to minimise damage to battery.

I still have not received my item from last deal…. Am I the only one?

p.s. reading the replies again and found I am not the only one apparently. I think op should resolve this issue first before posting the deal again…

    • I wasn't part of the last deal, but it sounds like "Vendor stuffed up. So Sorry."
Does this mean the last orders were cancelled? or what is going on?

      • +3

Do you two bother reading anything? Look at rep's comments above and you will find your answer.

        • -3

I did edited my post soon after I posted. However, I personally still think he should fix the previous oders first before he is allowed to publish this deal again. How can a new buyer easily trust a seller in this case? No email notification at all. I would have no clue what was going on with my order if laser and plumpf did not ask about it.

'vendor screwed up' - I am sorry! This is not an acceptable explanation. We were buying from junglejumble not his supplier.

After all, good deal but a bit lack of communication to me. Again, this is just my personal view.

  • is it possible to get more than 1 extra pack of AA for $14???

  • Awesome :) just ordered 2x chargers + 4pk batteries :) worth $4 extra for the extra charger I reckon! :)

  • So these are the older 1000 cycle eneloops. Is there any difference with the charger that comes with this and the charger that comes with the newer 1500 cycle eneloops?

  • Can these batteries be charged using other brand chargers

  • Ordered.

  • How does Eneloop compare with Duracell StayCharged range?

    • I've got both, they're pretty similar IME.

  • Hmmm same price for AAA as AA (a bit rough) I have seen them cheaper on special elcewhere anyway, $12 for 4xAA and AAA cheaper again, but still not too bad a deal…

  • -1

This is $24.99 regular price at DSE so this is a good deal but not spectatcular…

  • +1

    Hi Rep

I have a duracell NIMH battery charger. I was wondering if it is ok to charger Eneloop batteries on a duracell charger. I would prefer to buy just the batteries…Thanks in advance

  • -1

Just buy 8x Eneloop 1500 times from the usual place.. $26.40.. free shipping - 2 weeks delivery fr HK (usually)
    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130535…

You can use any charger - as long as it can detect if the battery is full
But of course, IMHO, the best charger is either Maha Powerex or La Crosse range..

    • +2

Honestly, we tried to find REAL eneloop batteries from Chinese suppliers and failed miserably. The ONLY Chinese supplier we could find that sold real eneloop batteries, sold them at a price that was not competitive. Nice find, but i'd put money (from the piles of Chinese fake eneloop samples we have here) that they're fakes.

All our products are purchased through Sanyo in Australia. - Not some random chinese battery manufacturer who happens to also sell eneloops. <-suspect.

If anyone has a problem with the batteries we have sold them, they can call Sanyo in Australia and have the legitimacy confirmed.

If we could buy and sell cheaper eneloops - we would.

      • +1

I appreciate your efforts to clarify this rep.

      • +1

Thanks for the warning - I guess I'll find out in about 2 weeks.

The packaging will be the first one giving away a clue, then the MH-C9000 will tell the truth. Luckily most Chinese fake is really far away in term of quality, so easier to be distinguished.

On other note, looking at Eneloop website, it seems they have big campaign in China and Germany. So, they will need a lots of wholesaler and retailer just like junglejumble or DSE there. Then, is it possible that some find their way on Ebay… ?

      • I am buying for sure …

    • Thank you very much.

    • Eneloops on eBay - rare as hen's teeth (real Eneloops that is)

      • Plenty of genuine Eneloop sellers on eBay, a lot of Australian Sellers too

        • +1

The only valid test is probably fully charge them and wait 6 months then 1 year and test for capacity. The true LSD Eneloops retain their charge as advertised. Who can do that test? No one.

If you think some Eneloops you buy on eBay look real, think again
          http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?238390-En…

        • Who can do that test? No one.

Wouldn't anybody whose life expectancy is greater than 12 months from the date of charging be able to "do that test"? Here's a link to help you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammar :p

  • What is the model number of the charger that comes with this? Is it a smart charger ?

    • Charger its self is NC-MQN04A - it will stop charging when full.

  • +2

Found some useful info on the eneloop chargers, this seems to be the basic charger, has 16hr charging time, so overnight job I guess. And contrary to what the rep says, it will not stop charging "when full" but has a 16hr timer built in, so if you are charging batteries that are only 50% discharged, they will still charge for 16hrs and potentially get overcharged, thus shortening their life. That is why I asked whether it is a smart charger e.g. MQR06 (which would in fact sense the battery's charge and stop charging when it's full). Still a good deal, I just like to research products before buying so I know what I am getting.

Got your facts all mixed up there billy_bob

Slow charge-current ensures a long cycle life of the eneloop batteries
Quick chargers deplete the lifespan of NiMh batteries, advantage only that they charge the cells quicker!

    • I was always under the impression that when NiCd & NiMH cells were full they no longer drew a current from trickle chargers, so charging effectively stopped automatically anyway?

      • +1

It depends how good the charger is. Many cheap chargers will continue to charge even when the battery is full. I have no idea whether this specific charger does this - the vendor seems to say it doesn't (a few comments above this).

      • Why don't you read, instead of having impression? Read here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battery_charger search for delta-V

        • Umm, interesting question from somebody who asked this: Is the charger timer-based or delta cut off? almost a whole day after the full specs (including this bit) and a link were posted by billy_bob:

          • Charge Control: Timer 16 h

Any other pearls of wisdom matey? ;)

  • Is the charger timer-based or delta cut off?

  • I bought a set with extra batteries. Hope to get it soon. Thanks a lot Jungle jumble and we will look forward to more deals…:-)

  • good deal. I've ordered online. Wish I'll get it soon.

  • I ordered online today @ 1PM, and while the shopping cart showed the discounted price, I was charged the full amount. I emailed customer support ([email protected]), but no response. Can someone please look into it? My order number: 100003167

    • They certainly live up to their name seeing as they "jumbled" your order :P

      • +3

Called up Junglejumble as I didn't get a reply, and the issue is that I accidently placed 2 orders for the charger. My real order had an additional AAA pack added on, but it was "bundled" in the same line as the charger, hence it confused me cause the cart showed up as 2 items (1x charger, 1x charger+AAA) .. so my bad. Junglejumble has fixed the order.. so kudos to them.

  • So… Anyone receive theres yet?? I'm still waiting..

    • Nope, I'm still waiting too, I just sent them an email reminder….

  • me too… ordered on 1st july…. no news, no reply to email!

  • Might have to give them a call tomorrow, should not take this long for postage within Australia. I am not happy.

    • Agreed! Lets keep each other posted on the situation..

  • Taking too long…not too happy.

  • Sorry guys, the last of the battery orders are on their way. This was a major screw around from our supplier on this issue and could unfortunately not be avoided. They ended up sending us the batteries and the chargers in 4 separate consignments, meaning if you had ordered an extra set of batteries with your charger, your order - as I'm sure you're aware had to be delayed until the batteries arrived.

Our original purchase order with our supplier was placed 3 days before the promotion for 1500 cycles begun - we were invoiced for 1500 cycle batteries and chargers and only received 1000 cycle chargers (no batteries). Our supplier was kind enough to fix the problem, however as you know - this has taken quite a while due to stock being delivered over an addition 3 consignments.

We're truly sorry about any inconvenience caused through this mishap. Keep your eyes on your mailbox over the next few days as your batteries will all be arriving (if they have not already) very soon.

Basically, if you have ordered 1000 cycle chargers - you should now have your order.
If you ordered 1500 cycle chargers - you should now have your order.
If you ordered any additional batteries - with either the 1500 cycle or 1000 cycle chargers - many orders were delivered late last week the rest have all been shipped this week.

  • Got mine this morning.
