Victa 18V Line Trimmer and Blower Combo with 5Ah Battery and Charger $199 @ Bunnings

90

Personally, I'm looking for a brushless 36V or 58V 2.4mm line trimmer, but if 18V satisifies you this seems a good deal.

The battery and charger alone are worth more than $199

Keep your garden neat and trim with the Victa 18V Line Trimmer and Blower combo.

The combo features the Victa 18V Line Trimmer, with all the power to keep your edges nice and tidy.

Also included is the Victa 18V Blower, which will clear your driveway and patio with ease.

The combo includes the Briggs & Stratton 18V 5.0Ah battery and charger.

Victa 18V Line Trimmer
Victa 18V Blower
Briggs & Stratton 18V 5Ah Battery

Note: Neither are brushless.

  • Why not buy Ryobi for the same price?

Powered by Briggs & Stratton® haha gotta love their marketing

Yeah I'd also go Ryobi over this brand as you're more likely to buy other Ryobi tools.

  • Victa: 5 years warranty on product, no mention about battery (not even on their web site)
Ryobi: 6 years warranty on product, 3 years on battery/charger

    • +2

Victa's website says 3 years on the battery and charger.

      • 3 yrs on battery/charger as per web site (thanks Lionfire) and also on the box.

  • Get the Ryobi, attach these to the line trimmer and you'll be laughing

    • These look good - how strong are they do they take an accidental collision with the brickwork?

    • Pretty sure you can get similar fittings to fit any brand of line trimmer.

Some of the ones I have seen are metal, not plastic.

Why? This pretty much turns it into the ozito that everyone complains about!

  • I assume when it comes to trimming line, thicker is better?

I notice the cheaper trimmers like this use 1.5mm line, whereas more expensive ones are 2.4mm or even 2.7mm

The Victa 82v range are great products , I've got the 18 inch mower , I'll never go back to petrol ever again
