  • Got a LG OLED55C9PTA from JBHiFi for $2280 delivered. Used gift cards that were 5% off worked out to be $2166.

high end items like this should always use a credit card with either price protection or extra year extended warranty, 5% saving upfront sounds good but down track price protection or extended warranty will be a much bigger benefit.. jmo

For example if you used 28deg CC to purchase at JB for $2280 you could have claimed the difference from this deal $2164 = $115 back already, almost covers your 5% gift cards, plus can claim up to $1000 if it drops further over 12m

I agree, I use them as placemats on our dining table for the kids.

@onlinepred: NO need for comments like this either. I was being serious, you're just clearly being a fool

            • @[Deactivated]: Yep sorry was being silly, I actually use them as picture frames, they frame pictures really well, just glue them directly onto the screen and looks fantastic.

          • @onlinepred: I use mine for my kids target practice.

            • @random101: Throwing kids at the TV I assume?

@onlinepred: I hang mine on the plaster board without a stud behind it and just watch it slowly fall off on to the floor.

      • Don't you have to pay like 1% of balance or $50/month for insurance?

        • Yes Only if you have a outstanding balance end of month up to $50max, as the card has no annual fee best just keep it on side & use it for hi end purchases you think will drop in 12mth, purchase & pay off immediately, if your going to max it out & not pay it off (which is what they hope) then won’t be that worth it

          • @RogueWolf: You would need to pay the balance off before you get your statement as the insurance goes by your end of month balance. So your balance will always need to be $0 to avoid paying the 1%. If your statement says Closing balance: $4000 you will pay $40 for insurance that month.

            • @raybies: exactly, as said above, thats why you just use it when needed & pay off immediately, obviously if you purchase right at end of the month you will get hit with up to $50 fee as you wont have enough time to pay it before new month starts, overall its top card just have to use it wisely

  • These are actually 20% off not 10% off.

    "20% off* with code PILOT20"

    • pilot is up to $300 off whereas popper is up to $500 so using popper will be more beneficial!

      • Ah yep, good spot.

  • The 65-C9 is showing as $3,555 for me with POPPER10

  • oled price dropping so fast. c8 was 3.2k at this time last year.
