Hi all. We're having a 4.5 hour flash promo for Amazon Australia. All categories will report at 10% Cashback during this time. Thought I'd spell out the terms as a reminder, as Amazon has very stringent policies. As always, thanks for the support and enjoy :)

Amazon Cashback terms:

  • IMPORTANT: Items must only be added to your Amazon cart after clicking from Cashrewards. Ensure your Amazon cart is empty before clicking from Cashrewards, as items added prior to clicking will not earn Cashback.
  • You must return and click through from Cashrewards to Amazon every time you make a new transaction/purchase.
  • Purchases made via the Amazon App are ineligible for Cashback.
  • Purchases paid partially or in full with Amazon credit are ineligible for Cashback.
  • Purchases paid partially or in full with gift cards are eligible for Cashback.
  • Gift Cards, Vouchers, Charity, Non-Profit items, and Amazon Prime memberships are ineligible for Cashback.
  • Use of coupon codes not listed on Cashrewards may invalidate Cashback.

    I used gift cards to buy the hue deal and it didn't track on both orders

    However the 3 orders used with credit card tracked

    All bought within Cashrewards app

    If you are buying groceries, clothing, shoes or jewellery then it’s better to stick with Shopback who have 12% cash back atm.

    Otherwise CR is better for everything else with the 10% back.

    Will anyone be able to tell me if
    1. The tax invoice sent will be at $799? The Ebay deals with mobileciti and allphones I believe will have a tax invoice that says >1K is that correct? So TRS will be less with this deal?
    2. This is a legitimate Australian stock phone?

          cashback is based on exGST price, so it should be $799 - $720 x 10%.

            Delivery: $5.45
            Total before GST: $731.81
            GST: $73.18"

            SO it'll be $799 - $73 (CR) - $79 (TRS) = $647.

              Which is AU $839.36 -AU $125.90 (15%) = AU $713.46 and then - 83.93 (TRS) = $629.52.
              Buy seems legit and selling a cheap S10e for $691.20 as well. How do you tell if these are grey imports :S

      Careful. If the full price is $799, the GST on that isn’t 10%
      It is $799/11 = $72.64

      So the cashback is calculated based on the pre-GST price which is $726.36
      10% of that is also $72.64

      So if you can get TRS, your final price is:
      $799-$72.64-$72.64 = $653.73

      Very normal. Some stores track in near real time and others have delays of hours and some can be days.

        Would you be willing to describe what is happening in the back end? Is the reporting speed dependent on whether the store has automated software and the slower ones are all manual?

          They’re all so different, some also batch upload so if you purchased just before the upload would track quickly but just after the upload you might wait hours or days.

      I’ve used iPhone by converting to “request desktop site” and the order tracked. But cr only tracked one item in the order and when I queried it they said that amazon didn’t track it. And cr wouldn’t budge. And I couldn’t be bothered trying to convince them that if one item in order tracked then order tracked and so other items in the order must get cash back but they didn’t budge. Anyway it’s been reported that often only part of the order gets the cash back so I don’t know if it was because I used the iPhone.

    Saw this 10% cashback newsletter email from cashrewards this morning and it was sent to me on 06Sep at 2:57AM

    The offer was meant for yesterday. Cashrewards sent this email one day late.
    Now the offer is expired. Can cashrewards run this again today?
