        My understanding is a lot of the system contracts go back to the same providers because they infrastructure won't support a rollout and upgrade of anything new.

        Really its a lose-lose-lose for IBM, the government and the people as its difficult to continue to support system regardless of how much money you throw at it.

    I just got an account and upgraded successfully, got 210 days in my trial.

    I don't get it though, what exactly does the subscription do? It's not like I can just spin up 10 servers without paying for them just because I have a subscription?

      Not aware about this cloud but it may extend your free trial for few more months…

      The lite account is significantly limited e.g. you only get 256 MB RAM when developing a web application with cloud foundry (PaaS). There is no such limitation with trial account. Trial account however, cannot be used to get premium service like dedicated server (IaaS).

    What do you mean what does it do? Your an ozbargainer so as long as its free that's all that matters. I might get 2 of them just in case.
