  • I can't seem to find any info about this laptop online. Anyone else have more luck?

average review, good price. goes for 350+ in all your bread and butter stores

  • Kinda confused, dual boots win7 and android but no touchscreen?

    • +2

      You don't need touchscreen.
Android OS is just another OS. Like XP, Linux, etc.

The android OS will be handy for internet browsing, watching tv, games, and other common tasks because it doesn't use much memory and cpu as suppose to Win 7 which is sluggish I found, You'll need to get extra ram.

Power on > select which OS you like to run > wa laa :)

      lol…this is a netbook, not a phone.

      • You could probably sidetalk with it.

      • It's just that I've never seen an android powered netbook before. Sorry for being misinformed :(

    Processor: Intel Dual-Core Atom 1.5GHz, 1GB cache

    Now that is some cache!

    • is that an error? 1mb l3 cache, surely?

      • Of course it is :)

  • Is it possible to add an additional 1GB RAM to this when purchasing? If so, how much is the additional RAM (including installation of it)?

    • Unfortunately, we don't customize/upgrade this unit.

  • Which Atom processor does this unit use? Can you please be specific?

    • N550 unless they did anything dodgy with it

      • swapped it with a celeron 1ghz to save money

  • its about $30 for a 2 gb stick at msy, centrecom, ebay

  • I recommend you install another boot - XP :)

  • Just went into OW. They have these units for $359. The screen is glossy (so it counts me out from buying) and, well, having seen the blue and pink models (it's what they had) I'd rather the light blue. :) The colours are rather pastelish.

  • I assume this is the same netbook as posted in this deal: http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/47866
I bought this on Thursday at Retravision for $239. Bought it for my son who has in primary school, although after having a play I am thinking that I will borow it from him when I travel for work instead of lugging around a 3kg+ laptop just for email and web based CRM/Interanet. The Retravision deal looks to be still advertised at $249 so you could save on postage if you have a store local to you.

    • What is this world coming to? 6 yr old kids with amazing laptops in their school bags. Lucky ducks. I had a pocket digital calculator in school :(
