$30 off a $1460 computer, are you sure you will stay in business after such a dramatic reduction?

Voting down to save you from bankruptcy.

4th gen, probably second hand, $780 normal price? Are you serious?!?!?

We decided not to sell at a loss as this would not be sustainable in the long term.
Older generation PCs still compete well with newer generation PCs at their price point. However we also have brand new rigs on sale.
We are a registered business with tax obligations and should only be compared to similar businesses.

  • Why have Win10 Pro when Home is fine?

    how is this a deal?
you dont specify what parts you use in your computers, e.g: no mention of ram brand, speed (only see that sort of in ddr4 ram pcs), no mention of type of motherboard or brand. no brand mention of gpu, or the wifi adapter.
    - you havent specified what type of monitor it is, and what resolution it is either.
    - saying that you use reputable parts means nothing to me. you could chuck in a cheap ass psu and call it reputable when it isn’t.

    not a bargain at all.

  • Further specs can be found in the photos on the website. Brand names and model numbers all there. Too wordy extracting it all here.

Good on you for having a go, but no bargain here.

Some of this is 5 year old gear (4th gen intel) and on the website you say used parts are mixed with new but you don't say which. My first thought is that these are used with new peripherals as you just cant buy this stuff new anymore.

  • Thank gumbo. I suppose different people can have a different take on this. Our views on this can be found here:

I click, loud auto-play video begins, I close tab. Terrible website.

  • Thanks for the feedback Jai. We have turned off the autoplay feature.

For a company with the name "Price Performance PC", you don't seem to know what that means.

Take a look at Techfast's recent post for an idea of what true price to performance is.

    Site also looks very unprofessional.

  • There is good reason why Tech Fast is cheap. We strongly suggest ozbargainers do their research on Tech Fast from third party sites before purchasing their systems.

not sure why everyone is so negative and make fuss over this post. for me compare to stuff i have seen on facebook and gumtree the PC spec and price listedhere is quite decently prices. I mean i build my own PC therefore never purchased from them before but still some of these comments don't make sense borderline bullying tbh. i guess some of yous are PC parts hustlers, but i doubt this website is targeting pc experts like some of the PC elitist here.
By the way regarding Techfast I have seen builds let me say no brand chinese PSU paired with rtx 2080 or 1080 ti using 2 x molex to 8 pin connectors ain't exactly confidence inspiring. Seen them advertise on eBay with builds like Ryzen 2600 paired with A320 mb isn't exactly a balanced build by any means.

  • Thanks for the encouragement sneakerdad1978.
