No email or anything listed in eBay summary, but showed was available at checkout

Edit: is now showing on product listing pages in the "Pay only $x.xx" popup and eBay summary page, guess was just taking it's time.

    I don't like the cheap LED ones. They don't seem to last very long. I replaced one T16 (centre tail brake lamp) and within 2 weeks, one side is already dead. This is on a car that doesn't even get driven around a lot (weekend car)

      Brake lights would be used much more frequently than interior lights though.
      I haven't thought of converting brake lights - did it make a difference?

        Just buy good quality halogen globes and it will be good enough.

  "Help us protect your account" emails are so spammy. It is a joke - literally bombarded with them for some reason. Every time I log in I get greeted with a "confirm your contact details are still current" or something to that effect.

eBay made a mistake and targeted me for the first time. Screw you Malcolm from the promo-targeting department.

Note that GST isn't covered for foreign purchases, so a $5 item ($4.55 + GST) will set you back 45 cents.

I was able to get the discount voucher to work but get this. I purchased an item for $5.68 and then had the voucher applied so cost was $0.68 but eBay charged me $0.57 GST as the item was from O/S. Have no issue with the GST being payable but they have collected $0.50 more than it should be for the amount paid. How many others have found this?

  That's been a thing for awhile. Australian government made a decision to charge an extra 10% tax on all imported stuff. This caused Amazon to stop shipping to Australian addresses (you can buy from Amazon Australia only, which has nothing on it) and eBay decided to pass it onto the customer instead of absorbing it.
  
  All in the name of encouraging you to buy local.
  
  Historically, these $x off deals have not applied to the 10% extra GST.

    Someone on here recently told me we can buy from Amazon US again. But if that's true, it must only be items actually sold by Amazon - because I tried it with an item yesterday, and the cart whined that I can't buy items from private sellers.

  Nah, it's not that. There have been times when I've bought regularly for a while, but received 3x codes in a row. Then other times I haven't bought for months and get no codes. Who knows what the criteria is… like most things ebay has done for years, little makes logical sense.

I see the link on both app and desktop. On desktop I scrolled down to Featured Sales and Events and it was in the list.
