      Newer Apple phones use USB-PD and legacy use 5V/2.4A. The QC3 would be for Android phones. What have you got?

      At only 12 W (or even at 18 W if the laptop worked with QC3.0), it would be significantly slower than the 65 W charger that came with the laptop.

      Yes, the first port, (says 2.4A), the QC port is the second one which says QC 3.0, and is orange

          Charges my iPhone 8 pretty quick at 5v2.4a using standard cables - note it’s not the offical USBPD fast charge but still very quick

          Black port is 5V/2.4A, Orange port is QC3.0
          Black port is faster for Apple.
          QC3.0 is faster for most android phones capable of fast charging via QC (NOT usb-pd like google pixel, it'll still charge, just not as fast)
