I'd say not going is a much greater deal. Rides are something stupid like $10 a turn now. $30 showbags with $4 worth of contents.

Paying just for entry? Seems ridiculous.

Hasn't been worth it for 15 years now.

What happened to concerts at Robinson Pavilion though, they were madcore

    • Parking is $20 per day.

    • Next there will be a walking p/m tax

    Got 2. Cheers OP!
For that price, it's only a little bit of a rip-off

  • will they need to show student id upon entry?

    • Doubt it. I purchased an "Adult" ticket after applying the code

    • It's in the terms:

Will need to present valid Student I.D. card if requested.

Depends if the people at the door really want to turn you away

    • +1

The actual ticket doesn't mention anywhere that it's a student ticket so should be fine. It just says General Admission.

      • +1

It does mention on the side next to the price paid the words "ROYALE" and "KCONC" which gives an indication of the ticket type.

But you'd be really unlucky to be asked for a student ID at the gate

Previous experience as a web developer

  • Wish you posted this earlier mate.

Can't believe you don't think us family :(

  • I think there is an Entertainment Book code for Families (possibly for 4), if not already posted, I'll track it down.

    • Works out to $55.50 (plus booking fee) for a family ticket on that deal. $47.80 (plus booking fee) for 4 people on this deal

      • Aren't family tickets $16.54 each (family of 4), so $16.54 * 4 = $66.16 on this deal?

        • Why wouldn't you go the $11.95 tix…?

          • +2

@spackbace: Ah yep. You’re right. Asleep at the wheel again, I am.

      • How does one buy Entertainment book tickets for the Royal Show?

        I can't find it online.

  • Anyone want 4 tix for $40?
Bought the $11.95 tix in haste but now reading the comments and see only for concession holders.

They will ask for student id for sure.

They have separate ticket counter for online purchases where they ask it for.

    • +3

Am here now with these tickets.

      They didn't check.

  • I think this post should specify it's for students only…

  • +4

I am a student and got myself a ticket but then forgot my student ID lol As I didn't print out my ticket I just had the barcode enlarged and ready to go and was not checked for my student ID. I paid $28 for my partner facepalm hope this helps!

    • Cheers!

Thanks buddy this helped calm the nerves haha :) I couldn't see anywhere on the ticket that said concession. However it does say $11.95, so I was a bit worried.

      Thanks Spackbace

Bought two and didn't check for student ID.

  • +2

Got 4 adults in with these tickets. No ID check. Then proceeded to get scammed at every place we visited inside…
