Wonder if this will work with blueiris

    • why not use sighthound? seems far more superior.

Hardly comparable, that is why many people run both.
BI is the superior NVR, designed for constant recording. iOS animated gifs. Free Numberplate recognition and Sentry AI for people recognition (daily summaries), and remote access viewing.

But if you don't want to pay for Sentry, people run sighthound in parallel with BI for the superior motion detection (but no where near as good as Sentry with BI). BI is there, so if needed you go back to the (ideally raw) constant record footage.

I currently run both in parallel, but about to dump sighthound in favour of Sentry. I have been trialing it and it's great!!

      • Bit expensive in comparison but I hadn't heard of it, might check it out! Thanks

    • you can pull motion jpeg from it with blueiris

    • I’m sure it does

  • How does this compare to the XIAOMI MIJIA DAFANG?

  • These are probably the cheapest cameras official supported in Synology Surveillance Station.

im using xiaomi xiaofang hacked cameras $15 so no :P

  • This is the normal price for these. I bought two at this price back in Nov from MSY…working well with my Synology Surveillance Station.

  • Foscam software is atrocious. It was good many years ago. I have a few but not using them anymore and does not recommend them.
Look at the rating for their android app.

  • Security?

Place them on separated VLAN with no internet access.

  • Could you add this to a hikvision nvr?
