R53600-2080SUPER-480R73700X-5700XT

Some more big boi gaming PCs here with Ryzen 5 3600 and Ryzen 7 3700X CPUs and RTX 2080 Super and RX 5700 XT graphics options. Both feature 16GB 2400MHz, B350 (Biostar B45M2) and a 480GB SSD as standard. Remember that regular RTX 2080 is now finito so RTX Super is the new norm and comes with the 750W 80+ Bronze power supply bundled too.

Plenty of upgrade options available on all lines as always. Note that my last post had the 3200MHz RAM pricing incorrect (copped some flak on that, lel) so it is $59 to go from 16GB 2400 to 16GB 3200MHz (currently using Team T-Force Dark and Kingston HyperX and others may be used).

RTX Super cards come with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare code. I can't make promises on existing orders but will try my best.

Spec: Ryzen 5 3600 | RTX 2080 Super | 16GB 2400MHz RAM | B350 MB | 750W 80+ Bronze PSU | 480GB 2.5" SSD | Leaper Pro White or Esports Pro Black (limited) Case
Price: $1649

and

Spec: Ryzen 7 3700X | RX 5700 XT 8GB | 16GB 2400MHz RAM | B350 MB | 700W Power Supply | 480GB 2.5" SSD | Leaper Pro White or Esports Pro (limited) case
Price: $1399

5700 XT dual fan cards have been more difficult to come by than anticipated due to the manufacturing for dual fan over blower/reference ramping up, and I'm working with previous customers to fulfill all existing orders as quickly as possible and supply is shoring up. But all XTs are dual fans - no blowers.

Cheers
Luke

    Is the 2400Mhz Ram overclockable?

Feel like a r5 3600 / 5700xt would perfect here, and help save a few dollars. Any chance of a deal on that combo soon?

  • Hi Luke, any info on which 2080 super brand is being used for the build?

    • We're currently using the MSI Ventus Super and have a reasonable number on hand but I'm not sure what the next model coming in is as it will depend on availability.

    @luketechfast

What model 5700XT are you using?

What is the current expected delivery time after an order is made?

Could you post a photo of your build space? I imagine you must be putting out quite a few units per day!

    Hi there,
When do you have a new deal for entry Pc gaming?

  • 5700 XT or the 2080 Super Build fellas?

    What presents better value?

    CHeers

    • 2080s is approx 20% faster then the 5700xt. 3600 loses by a touch to the 3700x.

So suppose the questions just down to does 20% (could be 20 frames, could be 13) and a worse CPU (irrelevant unless you use apps that scale with more cores) justify $250.

Personal, I reckon the 5700xt deal is better - absolutely better value. Turing's just far to expensive in Aus, especially past the 5700xt mark.

  • What's ryzen like compared to Intel?

    • +1

3700x runs about 10% slower then the 9900k in 1080p benchmarks iirc. For non gaming workloads, unless the apps are biased towards Intel AMD tends to flog them.

      Value wise? Unquestionably better.

  • Also, do we know the brand of the 5700 XT Duel Fan?

  • Hi, what brands are your SSDs?

  • Didn't think to look at the b350 boards when I've been building my current rig.
Am a but concerned at which 5700xt is included, assume it's reference cards which run really hot.
Any chance of a build with something like a pulse version?

It has been advertised as this. I purchased this on the basis they will be duel fan cards, not blowers.

  • Do any of your 2080 Supers use dual slot coolers?

  • Why is the R7 cheaper? Isn't the RX 5700 XT GC better as well? *edit- the 2080S is better as mentioned in above comments.
    Another question - https://www.pcworld.com/article/3175005/amd-ryzen-motherboar…
Seems if I want 3200MHZ ram, I may need to upgrade the mobo too, is that correct, or can I stick with the B350 and have the 3200MHZ ram?
I'm reading up on issues with the Tomahawk mobo - being unable to boot. Is that the one you'll be using? Or another?
If so, will there be a warranty? Also hear it's likely a small percentage encountering this issue.

Guys, is the warranty only for 1 year, usually most components have 3 years warranty by themselves.

  • Hey Techfast, is this deal still available? When I click on the link it goes up to $1999. Cheers

    • Yes, apply R53600-2080SUPER-480 on the checkout page to reduce the price. Cheers

  • Heya Luke, I ordered a Ryzen 7 3700x build just a moment ago as the price was superb ^_^
I was curious about delivery time estimate as I'm not familiar with ordering PC's online. As I live in Regional NSW, what times could I expect for delivery?

    • Hi mate, thanks for the order! Our average time from order to dispatch is around 7 business days (some more, some less), but as the busy season is ramping up it may increase by a couple, although we are doing everything we can to keep it around there. Delivery to regional NSW is generally 2-3 days from SA.

      • Awesome, thank you very much :)
