  Video summary: This monitor is not worth buying at $179. It is soundly beaten in all areas by many similarly priced TN competitors (even Acer's own entry level gaming TN monitor). IPS monitors are supposedly better than TN's in colour accuracy and viewing angles, but not with this VG240Y. The advertised 1ms response rate is fiction, the real life response rate being 10-20ms.
