    On my existing AU account: Changed Account to UK, with UK address, then changed Primary email to AU address = Wrong coupon code.

    On new UK account: Created with UK address, then changed Primary email to AU address = Buying limitation on your account.

    Any ideas? I'm absolutely stumped.

      The method I heard is none of the above; register with your UK address but then just change the delivery to your au address

          I had changed the AU Account to UK as the registered address. Then before checkout, changed the primary delivery address to AU.

        Yet others are buying this with newly created eBay UK accounts, and they aren't getting an alert.

            Now, exactly why it worked now, and not before, I don't know. But definitely follow his instructions.

    my old UK account that I opened a few deals ago it worked

    however the one I opened for the last deal, which didnt work last time,
    didnt work this time either
    changed the address back and forth,

    Can you use the Woolworths cards instore? I always buy ebay cards with these offers but decided on woolworths this time. I have received them already but it's only the online codes and not the instore ones like you also get when you buy direct from Woolworths via the cash rewards 5% off offer.

    Edit, just read the fine print and you just use the last 10 digits instore. Panic over.

      Yes, you can load the woolworths card in the woolworths money app using the gift card number and Pin that's in the PayPal link. Then it'll give you an in-store redemption information in the app.

      Or alternatively as you mentioned, can use the last 10 digits.

    Thanks OP. Finally got it working.

    PayPal did not work for me after multiple tries. Used credit card and it went through but got an email shortly saying "Sorry, your recent payment for the item(s) below did not go through."
    Used VPN - did not work. Then used VPN and incognito mode in chrome and finally got PayPal working.

        Don't use VPN - its not needed

        I noticed when i used my UK VPN to sign up / purchasse i would get hit with the error wall and accounts kept getting banned

        So it seems it's better to do without VPN

        It screws up paypal and won't allow you to use it
        Just use incognito

            @doweyy: This is what I don't quite get. There is no "delivery" address option.

            I have made the UK as Register address and AU as primary address (I assume this is delivery address) I can have the GC in my cart though.

            If I have primary address is UK, it said

            "This item cannot be purchased because this item cannot be sent to your delivery address." That's why I have primary as AU and Registered address UK.

            Still not working.

              @pbong1OzBargain: Ahh yeah the terminology is a bit different in the eBay UK account settings. If you registered with a UK address under "registration address" and then put an AU address under "primary address" I'm really not sure what's causing the issue then..

      I had this problem too, found the problem.

      Even though I had registration address in UK and delivery address in Aus, the ‘Country/Region’ had automatically detected I was in Aus. To change on the app go to ‘My eBay’ at bottom then ‘Settings’

    Had to create an new ebay account with a different email - I tried the Dot Method last time with eBay and Gmail and my account was blocked. So used a different email account using a UK address with Aus mobile number.
    Then it kept giving me a PayPal required error until I changed the delivery address to my Aus address and it worked like a charm!

    Got my gc’s Delivered in about 10 mins.

    I found out something which may help others -
    when I used ebay UK account, it had the "paypal unavailable right now" error
    - used another paypal account (which had balance) - did not work
    - used another paypal account (with no balance) and direct debit from bank account - it worked!
    So if you have this error, you can try deducting it from paypal direct debit from bank account (do not use paypal balance).

      I think Paypal is having a slight meltdown - also had the Paypal unavailable right now error as well. Got on the phone, and while on hold, I switched to credit card payment for about the 7th time and the eBay order confirmation screen finally came up.

      (I purchased 5x$100, it said the $200 were gone)

      EDIT: order returned/cancelled, payment didn't go through :-( Called Paypal, advised payment won't be allowed to go through. Good luck everyone!

    Hopefully someone can help, but I can’t choose what I want.. wish makes the most sense, but I’m not a massive woolies shopper. No doubt at some stage I’ll need a JB Hi-Fi spend, or a Rebel spend..

    So question is, if I just load up on eBay gift cards, can I just load them all into my ebay account, then buy said wish, Rebel, and woolies gift cards when needed?
