Almost had a heart attack thinking this was return lol, still great.

    • Yep, surely writing "one way" instead of "O/W" wouldn't take too much longer.

I was wondering what officeworks had to do with this deal

        • haha, me toooooo!!!

      • headings have limited number of characters permitted :/

  • Direct flight?

    • Nope. Stopping at Singapore.

      • Thanks. Do you know which airline is doing direct flights? (From Perth at least) I was told it was a Japanese carrier.

ANA does direct flights, but only to Narita I believe.

        • +1

I believe ANA is. We see them on our site having deals occasionally.

        • +1

ANA is flying direct to perth

        • Thankyou!

The previous Qantas deal seems better? ~640 return including check in luggage and meal.

Unless you plan to travel one way.

    • Depends on the person and travel style. Last time I went, I had carry-on only. No problems. Airline food isn't terribly high on my must-eat list. If you're 6 foot something, I gather Scoot can be pretty hard, but so would most airlines. And you may want to save the difference for an experience or a hotel on the ground.

After Scoot charged me double on baggage and refused to refund my money, they are not going to get another flight from me again.

Basically I was charged 2 lots of 40kg on an outgoing leg, was happy to let it go if they had just let me check in 80kg. They refused to let me do so, and refused to refund the extra charge.

Singapore is a pretty long way around to go to Japan.
Better to get a Malaysian Airlines deal or Jetstar

You can often get return deals with those carriers for about $500-$600, sometimes even less.

  • what is the best full service flight to osaka from melb for 2 adult and a baby? seems like qantas stopover syd.

but 300k citi points cant transfer to qantas or can i with $49?

  • +1

via Singapore makes it not worth it. ill Wait for the 2 for 1 with Jetstar again.

    • ive been planning to go to singapore for holiday but feel like its a waste to go there and not use it as a stopover

any reason why via singapore is bad for this deal? just too far?

      • Nothing wrong with Singapore, but some people prefers to go direct to Japan as they might already done Singapore or not wanting to spend the additional stopover time.

    • Thank you. Just wondering when do the 2 for 1 deal with Jetstar often start?

  • Correct me if I am mistaken, tried 2 days early march 2020 - travel from Gold Coast to Singapore and ANOTHER stop in Taiwan - a 33hr trip!!
