  • I keep seeing this being posted. Is this really good? What can you use this for? As in can I only use for tech or can I use this for furniture as well?

    • I purchased mine to take apart/fix small electronics.

Not enough torque to build furniture.

      • that's what I thought. I guess it depends on how much tech u deal with.

What about PC's? Are they any good at taking out PC and laptop screws?

        • External screws, I doubt it. Will most likely work on small internal screws though.

          • @RichardL: are you sure cant do externals? like opening the back panel of laptops, or the desktop screws at the back when we are about to upgrade ram ssd, etc

            • +1

@CyberMurning: Depends on how tightly wound the screws are.

I tested on back of my desktop tower and it didn't have enough torque to unscrew it (Will unscrew if you loosen it).

It's basically an electric precision screw driver.

Great for smaller items (think electronics like mobile phones etc) but useless for much else

    • So it's called TRY but it doesn't even live up to its name?

      • +1

Well the name is correct. It means try me then you know.

      • +1

Just because you try does not necessarily mean that you will succeed.

“Do or do not. There is no try. Except on OzBargain.”
