Was about to post this, cheers OP!

  • Didn't work for me on the Passion Victim carton

    • +2

Has to be the bottled cartons by the looks

      • Yeah didn't work for trail blazer cans…

        • +4

          Booooo. Much prefer cans.

    • +3

If you add a carton of bottles and one of cans, apply the discount and then remove the bottles from your cart, the discount seems to remain and apply to the cans (and the free shipping too).

      YMMV but worked for me

    • +2

Still 1.3 standards per bottle/can and tastes good (can speak for the pale ale). Worth it for $50 imo.

    • +1

Yeah, never seen 330ml cans. Seems to be the standard these days for bottles, but cans is new…

      • 330ml is standard size for cans in Europe (or at least Germany, France etc).
It is either 330 or 500 over there.

    • +11

This take is weaker than the Aldi beer you spilled while writing it on your refurbished Galaxy s5.

      • +1

I logged in to upvote this banger of a comment

    • Are you seriously negging because the stubbies are 330ml? What about the 375ml cans?

      • +1

The Two Birds cans are also 330ml, but yes I agree @profar should not be negging for not liking the can size. This deal is on bottles anyway which are normally 330ml. Good value seeing as it's usually $75 a carton.

        • I was looking at these guys.

          • @Hinee: Ah yes, but they are not apart of the deal as it is the 24 pack cartons, not 16 pack. Also deal only seems to be for the bottle cartons, not cans.

  • -2

it seems to be $25 off per order, so will need to put in multiple orders if you want more than one carton

    • I ordered 2 cartons of Pale Ale in the same order and got $50 off

      • Me too

      • +1

yeah ok it must have been beause one of the two cartons i tried to order were cans

  • Thanks. Sunset ale on the way

  • -4

For example compare DM selling there product To there WS : https://www.danmurphys.com.au/product/DM_592844/two-birds-pa…

    • +3

Sorry, I don't understand what point you are trying to make?

Unless I'm missing something, this deal is $25 cheaper than the Dan Murphy shelf price for the pale ale you linked, plus comes with free shipping.

  • +1

Wish Taco ale came in cans lol

  • -8

I can comment on Passion Victim . Obviously not impressed with value and would prefer to buy my favourite beer at DM and do my parts mixture with buying some Kirks Pasito for around half the price :)

  • +2

What's the verdict of the taste of these beers?

    • +1

Pale Ale is really good. Passion fruit is okay. Trail Blazer a bit boring

      • Can second for the pale ale, quite fruity, but good.

    • +1

Pale Ale is up there as one of the best. The PassionPop is like a bit of pineapple in your beer nice zingy fruity pop to it. The Taco beer is like as if someone stuck a whole taco into your stubby while you weren't looking.

    • +1

Meh their beers don't do a lot for me tbh, I find them a bit bland.

Still, $25 is a decent deal.

    • Thanks all. Ordered a Pale.

I was going to IPA but it's an extra $15.

  • +7

Why am I reading this thread when I don't even like beer?

    • +8

I only drink it coz big Terry drinks it

  • +1

Misses is a huge fan of the Taco Beer so I better get her a slab. A slab of the Pale for myself of course. Probably my favourite beer these days besides Asahi 500ml cans. Too many local beer companies selling out to overseas buyers.

    • +1

Probably my favourite beer these days besides Asahi 500ml cans.

      Ok.

Too many local beer companies selling out to overseas buyers.

      But you drink Asahi?

      • Yep and they just brought CUB lol.

        • Oh wow, they really did.

But Fosters was owned by SABMiller for a long time and then they got bought by AB InBev a couple of years ago.

  • +1

Got a slab of the Pale, thanks OP

  • -8

Did I mention I received a $25 Frothy Slab around same time as this slab . Was bigger even tasted better and I'm a true beer connoisseur :)

    • +7

Didn't know beer connoisseurs added Pasito to their beers! I also got a carton of Frothy for $25, probably close to the worst beer I've had for the year, would never pay full price for it that's for sure!

    • +1

Mate frothy is a terrible tasteless beer - I'm still struggling through my $25 carton.

  • Anyone in Sydney know what Startrack will do with a missed delivery from Two Birds? Will they drop off at the local post office/parcel centre, or 'leave it in a safe place'?

    • Drink it

    • My last delivery from them required a signature, so I'd say it would go to your local post office if you're not home

    • I checked with Two Birds and they are sending these via Australia Post. Ordered Tues, got the AusPost notification today and I redirected it to the parcel locker. Happy days.

  • +1

Love all Two Birds beers, the Taco is my partner's favourite, Sunset won a big award in the UK and the Pale is one of the best I've tasted from a true Aussie Craft brewery.
Deal is $25 off & free Delivery on each carton (BOTTLES ONLY). Thanks OP. I also received the email and just ordered up for Xmas. Link below:

    • +3

That's settled it, 2 cartons of the Pale for me.
Not sure how you are going to make yours last until Xmas though

      • he didnt say how many cartons he ordered… loll sooo its possible if he got one for each week?

  • +3

Got a Taco and a Pale. Never tried these before so I'm looking forward to it.
    Thanks guys!

    • Got the same! Seeing the complaints below about delivery times I wish I'd just driven to pick it up

  • +1

Really like these guys' beers but i have to say last time i ordered it took 3-4 weeks to arrive and i know others in Brisbane had a similar experience so i hope that isnt repeated.

    • +1

Yes I had the same wait here in Vic. Would be amazing if these arrived before Friday (Public Holiday) but I highly doubt it.

    • +1

Delivery took approximately 3 weeks for the trail blazer lager cans I ordered from them to get to Brisbane. Their website is very simple and has no order status/tracking either - so the first you know of the shipment is a msg the day before. As far as the lager, it's ok. Not sure I would buy it again.

    • these *girls' beer…

  • +1

    Thanks OP. Got the pale

  • +1

Fantastic thanks mate! Grabbed a couple of the pale to try!

  • Love the PA, possibly my favourite beer atm, so grabbed 2, and 1 IPA to try.
Basically got a free case of pale, great deal.

  • +1

Cheers OP, Got the Taco beer to try.🍺

  • Cheers, got me some Pale.

  • Dang read this as $25 per carton and got excited.

    Anyone tried the cider?

  • Got some pales. Pity it doesn't work on the victims. Best beer going.

  • +1

good deal, thanks. never tried two birds but i'm all in - PA, IPA, Taco.

  • Got excited about this until I saw the carton prices.

  • -1

Seems expensive even after discount, how do these compare to others?

  • Great deal. Got some Pale Ale! Cheers lads.

  • +1

Just received this email. Knew it wouldn't ship this week, oh well.
