Hello Guys,

Similar cases go for approximatly $100

We are liquidating them and its an incredible deal.

The cases can be easily modded for HomeLab and other proconsumer server functions.

The middle bay fan rack can be removed to accommodate larger E-Atx XL-Atx or SSB motherboards.

The fans included are not PWM but can be replaced with any 120mm fans.

Any questions send me a message.

So these are the losers of crypto boom.

    • +2

Yes.. but it can be re-purposed for other tasks.

    • +2

No, these are from the winners who cashed out ….losers are still mining ….

  • Will this fit in a standard 19" server rack?

    • Yes. Does not come with Racks. You need 4post rails or UPS rails or shelves..

But fits all standard rack infrastructure.

  • +2

Yeah I picked up a similar one recently, am modifying it into a 16 bay hot swap server case. Need more space for those Linux distros…..

    • Got more info on this mate?

      • +3

add 3rd party hotswap bays. All parts are modular in this case and joined by screws. No Weld or sealed parts.

Basically what I am doing is building my own DIY Backblaze Pod, configured in much the same layout:
        https://www.extremetech.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/backb…

My layout will only use 2 rows of 8 drives each, which means a 10mm gap between each drive for ample airflow between the drives.

I am using a bunch of these hot swap bays mounted vertically, they are a bit too long so I used my dremel to modify them a bit. The front plastic is removed but the latch that pushes the drive out is reused.

Screwing in 4 rails, 2 along the top and 2 along the bottom to secure each row of drives.

Mounting 3 fans in the front and 3 fans in the middle to keep the airflow going around the drives.

  • Do you have this in black ? The blue looks ugly as.

    • +1

It appears to be a black front and silver body (the blue is protective film)

      • Yes. The blue is a protective film that can be easily taken off.

Might want to put this in the original post as I also thought this was blue until I read this comment :D

    • Insane deal! Wonder if they have enough stock to make its own post :)

  • I think you mean
“Brand new items to Used Power supplies - Enough to start a successful business on ebay.”

  • Ideally this should have exhaust fan mounts right at the back of the case too. Something like x4 80mm fan mounts would help out immensely when you're generating so much heat.

    • 3x 120mm in Front and 3x 120mm in Middle. If you use high CFM with good static pressure, those 6 fasn can easily exhaust any amount of heat.

10GPU Ai Servers like supermicro 4028 only have Middle rack. High CPM 92mm x6 fans for 10 GPU.

  • If this fits a standard 19" server rack, whats the difference between the 8 gpu case and 10 gpu case.

There are no measurements in the listing.
