never mind… that was the Coles deal…

  • +3

Sweet free delivery much better than having to trek to Coles.

    • that's a funny one. when did you come up with that?

      • +1

there's one every deal, lame as.

        • -1

People can’t think up a new joke themselves so they have to post the same old lame joke in every iTune gift card deal here.

  • How long will this bargain be on for?

    • +3

This bargain be on for October 1.

OW will match the Coles offer.

  • I was trying to see if iTunes cards ever expire so I went to the Apple website where, after a lot of searching, I found this:

"If you're trying to redeem a content code, check the expiration date printed on the back of the card. App Store & iTunes Gift Cards and Apple Music
Gift Cards don't expire, but content codes do."

Now I am confused. "…content codes do". What does this mean in real terms if the cards never expire?

    • +2

I believe it means some app redeem card will expire, iTunes credit will not

  • how come Officeworks didn't match Aldi deals

    • Do u mean coles?

      • Aldi also had 15% off Itunes cards (exc. $20 card) which just ended early this week I think.

Coles are also having the same deal. What I meant was that how come Officeworks did not price-match Aldi deals

        • Oh u tried to get them to price match and they didnt do it? Strange. But the current deal is better now isnt it? 20%

  • bugger was hoping to use officework’s price guarantee against coles for 5% off the discounted value

    • That's the whole point isn't it - Officeworks are smart enough that when you do a price guarantee/price beat they try to adjust downwards so they only need to do a price match after that..

  • Hey question, can you use iTunes credit for anything useful other than App Store and Apple Store stuff? E.g. I remember a while back, my brother used to pay for his Netflix with iTunes credit, but they closed that down a while ago. Are there other uses like this for iTunes cash?

    • Still use mine for Netflix and also Apple Music. Without the subs I would find it difficult to spend - don't buy many apps and zero games.

    • If you have an existing Netflix sub through iTunes then you can continue using it (that's what I do). However, new subs apparently have to go direct through NetFlix now.

    • +1

My iTunes credit pays for the family Netflix, Stan, Apple Music and iCloud Storage.

    • And don’t forget you can still claim a tax credit, when you manage your own tax affairs

    • You can continue to do it for Netflix if you have an existing account/setup - just not for any new subscriptions I believe ?

You can use iTunes credit for app purchases - which might include things like books etc

Basically it's credit within the Apple ecosystem for digital objects (not physical ones)

  • Thanks op. Just stocked up :)

  • Can you claim these on GST with the Airport TRS?

    • +1

Gift cards / vouchers excluded. Can't buy more than 3x$100 cards anyway which works out at $240 and below the minimum invoice requirement for TRS.

  • can you buy online and get the code right away without having to go to the store and pick-up?

    • No, they will send you the physical card only.
