Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro 6GB/128GB Dual Sim - Carbon Black $537.70 Shipped (HK) @ TobyDeals

150

Looks like it is International Version not the Redmi K20 Pro. As the photo they use has a MI logo at the back, instead of the Redmi logo.

Specification tab also has 700MHZ for 4G network, which is B28 band.

  • Just get the 8gb/256gb for $100 more. Android 10 update should come in October.

    • Just get the 8gb/256gb for $100 more.

Haha did you intend for this to be an instruction..?

    • The 8GB Mi 9T Pro has not yet been released from what I've read, but happy to be proven wrong.

Personally I don't think 6GB RAM deserves the 'Pro' label in 2019.

    • tempted to get the 8/256gb version but they just released a 8/128gb 5G model with 45w charging, 30w wireless charging coming end of October so will prob wait see what deals come around November

      • That's the Mi 9, not the 9T Pro.

  • Has anyone purchased from Toby and received the Mi 9t Pro (rather than K20 Pro)?

  • +2

Make sure you read reviews for this shop before buying. They have not so good reputation.

    • When I ordered my Nokia 6.1 from them, I waited 5 days before sending them a query on the status of my order. Told that there was no stock but stock was coming a few days later. On the day they predicted, an email was sent to advise that the order was getting ready for despatch, and then another email shortly after saying that it was despatched. The package then arrived 5 days later.

So initial stock levels on their website might be inaccurate. But after they have stock, the shipping is very quick from HK.

  • All these phones are flashed or global version?

    • +1

Looks like flashed as its the international version.

      • +2

If it's flashed, wouldn't the back panel say have "Redmi" on a 90deg angle instead of "Mi" and not have B28?

        • +2

There's a difference between international version and global version. If the phone indeed has B28, then it's the global version. Redmi K20 Pro doesn't have B28. The description that it's the international version is confusing.

  • +1

annoying that they dont list the phones model number that would clearly indicate whether its global version or chinese version with intl rom; its made all the more confusing when they have (Redmi K20 Pro ) listed in the product name

  • The fact that the title says 'Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro 6GB/128GB Dual Sim (Redmi K20 Pro )' does not fill me with confidence.

  • Mi 9T is International Edition of K20 Pro. And their backs are very different. You guys so amusing.

    • I'm gonna take the plunge and buy one. Red, blue or carbon black?

    • +5

The description says "Redmi K20 Pro" and no mention of Xiaomi… Not surprising people want confirmation it's actually the Mi 9T Pro and not the K20 Pro.

  • Unrelated but Ican’t stop thinking about that BLU Bold N1 phone for USD200 (Deleted due to no stock) Seems like an awesome specs for the price

  • Unfortunately overseas purchases can't be used for tax return claims.

    • +2

Not true. For my tax return I've claimed multiple items over the years as work-related deductions.

    • Any legitimate work related expense can be claimed no matter where incurred. Not for TRS GST refund though if there is no tax invoice.

  • +3

Redmi k20 pro and Mi 9T pro are different. Mi 9T pro is the international version which has B28 and Redimi K20 Pro is the chinese domestic use version which lack B28.

As their description is not clear and their reputation is not so desirable, I will pass this deal.

    Thanks for your effort OP.

  • I bought the Mi 9T offer last week and it's still 'processing'. They have low stock levels and when asked, did not give me a timeframe of delivery.

I would avoid unless you want a long, uncertain wait. I'm used to things taking a while - but these guys are taking the piss with their 'processing' time.

  • I shot them an email to confirm.

Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro 6GB/128GB Dual Sim (Redmi K20 Pro ) - Carbon Black
Can you confirm this is the mi 9t pro and not a redmi k20 pro that has been flashed?

Just to confirm I purchased purchased the Xiaomi 9t pro via tobydealsau on Wednesday September 25, received on Friday October 4.

A total of 9 days from placing order to receiving.

100% it is the mi 9t pro and not the redmi k20 pro.

Shipping in Australia was via toll.

Shipping details on tobydealsau always said in process until it hit Australia and then was provided tracking details via toll.

    • Mine just arrived a couple of hours ago.

Call recorder is gone. Massive loss.

They also got rid of the amazing Xiaomi dialler and replaced it with the crappy google dialler that sucks.

Triple camera is pretty good, I love the wide angle and depth of field. Popup selfie camera is cool. I ordered the Redmi K20 rear glass on ebay, it's much cleaner than the Mi9T because it doesn't have any of the regulatory nonsense ruining the beautiful design.

The phone looks and feels amazing, it's a genuine 9T Pro but it's a shame they've gone massively backwards with the important parts of the phone.

      • Does tobydeals include a AU adapter with the EU charger or does it include a AU charger by default
