  Isn't $2095 a ridiculously good price for a 17.3in ROG Scar Strix II with an RTX2070?

  So long as the ram is upgraded post purchase and you don't mind the noise, heat, and short battery life (when gaming), then it seems like a great price.

    It's a good deal for sure. Has been this price or cheaper (around 2073) with coupons for quite a few months - at CA, Futu and occasional others.

    The 3 fan Gigabyte 2070 is at normal Nvidia gpu speed: 1620 MHz

    The 2 fan Gigabyte 2070 is factory overclocked: 1710 MHz

    There doesn't seem to be much fps difference with the overclock though. https://www.gpucheck.com/variants/nvidia-geforce-rtx-2070

    The 3 fan card is listed and while the overclocked one isn't, plenty of other 2070 cards with the same overclock give us a good idea of the likely boost. It's about a 1fps increase for 1080p, 1440p, and 4k gaming.

    Depends on your resolution and the games you want to play. I am looking for a super but they keep bumping the price up for sales. Starting to think the 5-10% performance gain isnt worth the $200-300 difference or hassle waiting for a deal.
