Try and use "QFFFIVE", it'll bring it down to $450.39 + 2000. I think it might be targeted but worked for me when logged in :) Thanks to this deal.

Are you one of the five staff?

    • +2

works for my account. my last "qantasstaff" experience was very bad lol

    • Thankyou and op. I was just looking to buy these headphones last night.

don't do a f/w upgrade. the last update killed the ANC on both QC35 models. Months later and Bose is still pretending the upgrade had no impact to the ANC.

    • Really no way, I just updated last week after not touching it for over a year :(

    • +2

      ANC is fine on mine.

  • Can we get TRS if buy anything from Qantas Store?

    • +2

      yes

      • Hi, How do we claim trs with invoice that states only points? Any help would be appreciated 😊

  • How much would 2000 points be worth in terms of alternative purchases?

    • +2

You can sell for ~1.1c/point privately. So around $20 by that metric.

    • -1

Based on digital WW gift card

      4750 for $25
      so 2000…approx $10.53

  • Does this model also support music share? Can’t seem to find documentation of it online.

    • Nope.

  • +3

Yay and you earn 900 points while buying them too

  • Tnx. Bought soundtouch 30 for 460$.

  • +2

Are these really worth the ~$450 when compared to Sony MX3?

    • If you use them for phone calls then yes.
I tried these at JB and the ear cups were much more spacious than the Sony's. The ear cups on the Sony's are a bit shallow.

  • how can i get 2000 points?

  • +6

Will never trust Qantas store again.
Many people have been treated badly on Sony A7 III with Lens deal.

    • +5

Let's not forget how badly we were treated with their latest Sony WF1000XM3 deal.

  • Going thru the comments it seems like the WF-1000XM3 "event" in August was not the only one time that shows Qantas' understanding to customer service. Hmmm…

    • I'm still waiting for these to be delivered. When I placed the order they were showing as "In stock". Now the ETA is 14th November!

      • I ordered on the 30th and they arrived on the third. Sent from their Newington, NSW office

  • Unless absolute top notch ANC is crucial, I would just get the Sennheiser Momentum 3 when the price of that comes down a little. The Senn has much better sound imo. I’ve purchased the XM3, this Bose, and got rid of them both as they just don’t sound as good as my B&O H9i (but that has its own issue too in the sound). But I spent a bit of time at the Senn store listening to the Momentum 3 and I’m going to get a pair. Just waiting for it to show up on Qantas store and be on sale as they always are!

    • +2

      No

      • No to what?

        • No wayl

    • Unless absolute top notch ANC is crucial,

You answered your own question why people go with sony or bose.

There is no brand loyalty here. If a headphone has the best anc and the best sound and the price is reasonable. You think people will still get the qc35ii or the xm3? Ofcourse not. People are choosing the sony and bose because they are compromising to get as much features as they can get.

      • Not everyone consider the best ANC performance the number one yardstick. That was my point. Myself for example, I fly more than most but I think the ANC on my B&O is more than good enough. I rather the better sound that it provides than having the best ANC possible.

        • +2

Dont get me wrong. I see your point. But you should also see others point of view. Some really put best ANC possible as high on the list.

While others put ease of being able to switch between connected devices highly.

Or having a decent mic as important also.

          TL;DR

We choose gadgets based on what features are important to us. Sometimes we have to compromise to get as much of these features.

  • Got these 700s and they suck.

    QC25 still the best.

    • +1

      Elaborate

      • I'm a back to basics kind of user.

The QC25s are plain, simple, no frills. Pop in battery pop out when needing replacement.

NC: The NC itself I can barely make out a significant difference. For the money totally not worth it.

Comfort: 700s are not as comfortable as they feel less roomy around the ears.

Annoying things about 700: the power on/off sound, the buttons that get in the way when you want to physically adjust the headphones.

Sound quality: 700s sound more tinny and less bassy.

Phone calls: meh. people on other end don't even say it makes any difference.

  • +1

I’m at the qantas store store in Melbourne domestic. You can get it for $459 cash, no points needed if anyone is interested.

  • Just got these and really like them.
There's no ear pressure from noise cancelling on these headphones which is great!
I had the Sony XM3's previously and felt some pressure in my ears with ANC.
Of course this all depends on how sensitive your ears are so YMMV.

  • Now at the Qantas Store with additional 5% off (using code: GQ2019)

    total PTS2,000 + AUD $450.39

  • How does the TRS work with qantas store orders, any idea ?

  • Purchased an iPad from qantas store but invoice just stated points. No gst. How do we claim trs for it ?
