  • Where's the link to the offer itself (not Kiosk locations)?

  • theres no link that i can find as its a special NAB kiosk offer only i think, thus you need to ask for it at a nab kiosk. for info on the NAB business accounts see http://www.nab.com.au/wps/wcm/connect/nab/nab/home/business_… they should have a poster advertising it at the kiosk. also i think you need to open up two accounts one is the NAB Business Cash Maximiser and the other is NAB Business Cheque Account ($0 Monthly Fee Option), its a new offer the lady at the kiosk didnt know much and tried to tell me that i had to go to the branch to open it up which i did only to find out that it had to be done at a koisk to qualify for the $50. thus ill be going back there in august i think when i get an abn and tell her off. im not too sure if they will let you open an account if you dont have an abn but its worth a try. let us know how you get on?

  • The link for the offer is important, to find out if we're qualified or not. For example, can existing or old NAB customers still get it, or only new NAB customers? I imagine most people on here would have already got the $50 reward deal with NAB a few months ago, does that disqualify us for this one as well?

    • note for most of these Kiosk offers all the info is only given out at a NAB kiosk, its generally not advertised on NAB website online. so just ask for it. if i recall correctly in the fine print it does mention only available to new NAB Business customers not existing NAB Business customers. so no you can still get it i believe if you got the $50 for a personal classic account last time. if anyone goes by a nab koisk take a picture of the poster and upload it thanks as i don't have a camera mobile phone. good luck.

  • Kiosks are mainly in shopping centres and nab expects businesses to sign up for a bank account there.

    • Why not, even business owners need to shop sometime.

  • the nab kiosk at gc is outside woolworths isn't it? i might check it out tomorrow when i go shopping

  • Yes NAB Kiosks are mainly in big shopping centres around australia

It's free to register for an ABN. So can I just apply for an ABN and take advantage of this offer? Does the term and condition say you have to actually own a business to be eligible?

    • Actually, it's illegal to apply for an ABN unless you are a legitimate business.

  • Apart from the $50, is there anything the business account offers which is more than their personal accounts? I can't see any.

  • so is this a fee free account or what?

    • You may have to check with the kiosk itself to confirm what type of accounts you need to open. As Coolsteps said earlier, if you need to open the 2 accounts (business cheque account ($0 fee option) and business cash max.), both are free accounts.

  • This post may not be truful guys. no real evidence that nab is offering this from opening business acount. no and none anywhere mentioned. I was in chatswood other day nothing seems on.

  • ok, so i grabbed a copy of the t&cs today when i went shopping. here's the deal: open a nab business cheque account & deposit at least $50 by 12 sep 2011 and they'll put $50 in the account. the cheque account has $0/$10 monthly fee options. just be aware that you get charged alot more fees than a personal bank account (see http://www.nab.com.au/wps/wcm/connect/nab/nab/home/business_… )

promotion begins 4 july 2011, ends 31 august 2011. only one credit per customer. offer only available for accounts opened at kiosks for sole traders and companies. existing nab business cheque account customers are not eligible.

see http://www.nab.com.au/wps/wcm/connect/nab/nab/home/Business_… for requirements. the page says you will be contacted by the nab to discuss your needs.
