    The ASUS dvd driver is being retailed at $49 somewhere else; and 2G extra costs $99?

      well they probably have put 2X2GB modules while now it would either be 2X3GB modules or 4GB+2GB in which case, would cost around $40-50, more if using 3GB sticks

      typing on it now, a very sexy machine and much better specced than the 1 above. They can do a much better price on such a machine.
