Not quite sure why the bigger one was cheaper but I bought it anyway.

  •

    Bought two 😀.

  •

16oz being 450ml, so a little less than 2 cups.

Have had two of these fail on me, seals broke under the lid. So i dont recommend them anymore.

Since gone with a Zojirushi, which has had no issues.

    •

I had this one in my shopping list for about 2 weeks and wasn't sure if I had to pull the trigger or not. Thanks for the heads up.

PS: Have just checked the Zojirushi ones and they're bloody expensive. Gonna keep an eye on them if/when they go on sale.

(Depending on where you bought yours, of course.)

      •

Bought from the US, but ordered to a Prime locker while I was there. Hence have to take them back to the US to return them, plus be there long enough for the return to be processed.

    •

You either got a defective one or are not giving the full story. I've had one for over three years, daily hot coffee use, hand washed, no issue whatsoever, ride with a bike to work every day. No issues with leaks, have not replaced any parts.

      •

Same. I've had two for years, dropped them, dinged them, thrown them around, dishwashered them constantly - zero issues.

  •

Have these from last offer, can vouch for the quality.

  •

    Thanks Vikram

Good thermos, does the job. Probably not as good as a zojirushi, but holds temperature well over the day.

  •

    Ordered, fingers crossed

  •

Love my west loop 2. Been going for a few years now. I'm sure this would be good too. Good find OP

  •

    Thanks OP.
Went for the 16oz one… the 710ml one seems like it might be a bit awkward.

  •

How do these compare to a Yeti?

    • +30 votes

smaller… a lot less hair and actually exists

      •

if i was bigger and had hair on my head i'd easily be confirmation they exist…

        As per Product description -

Seal It In - Leak proof lid (when closed) for on-the-go activities
For the Long Haul - Drinks stay hot up to 9 hours and cold up to 21 with THERMALOCK Vacuum Insulation
        Lend a Hand - Easy one-handed drinking
Perfect Fit - Fits most car cup holders
Get a Grip - Easy grip to grab and go

    •

Most of the Yetis are shorter and wider. I like the Yeti design better than the Contigo, but that is personal preference.

  •

Could one of these be used as a protein shaker? With no smell later

  •

710ml model as a water bottle?

I've used two of these daily with instant coffee for 6 months. Good diameter for car cup holders, retains heat well. Holds spills quite well. Easy enough to keep clean if you rinse them within a few hours after use. However if you leave a milky beverage in them for a couple days the gunk is hard to clean out of the lid.
